Look around Dacia and Thrace, notice how far south the danube river seems to be located? What happened to the Thrace region (Bulgaria)? Don't you think there's something wrong there? The river is just too far south of Dacia!

I am pretty sure mountains don't move that fastdelra said:How do you know it's incorrect shape of Danube AT THAT TIME?
You know, rivers changed a lot since then.
i actually even said this to Johan in an email recently...i don't think they care too much right now, as i can see eu3-s latest expansion will modify the map aswell (atleast in iberia) so i hope this might be corrected latercool-toxic said:I actually find it very important to correct such errors, not only because it's wrong but also because it's so easy to do with the way the engine is.
Other things like for gameplay reasons islands being generaly too big.
But I must say that Paradox Interactive have done a great job with improving the textures and the 3D part of their engine.I like the Carpathians the most.

thanks for your understanding.Spartan said:@Jorian - An excellent post. RTW was released with hundreds of known small errors and a situation developed as you pointed out, that no one with any knowledge played the stock game after a certain corrective mod (CVP) was released. Oddly enough the mod with a several page detailed correction list with full code references was sent to the developers weeks before the release and CA completely ignored it.
I am also a big fan boy of Paradox and a key element why I love the company is because it tries to pay attention to all the little historical details for its products.
