Chapter 0: The Situation
It was the 1st of January 1936. A new cabinet has recently been assembled inside the British Raj, an autonomous part of the British Empire. The autonomous state of the British Raj was one of the biggest and most populated countries in the world, with a population of 350 million British subjects. The British Raj has lately been making moves towards independence, but it will be a long, and probably bloody fight for it.

However, the British Raj was quite backwards technologically, with very limited amounts of people who actually are literate, and even lower amounts of great minds of innovation. They were reverse-engineering some of the Great War equipment that the British had send to held defend the the region. They also tried to improve their industrial tools.

In the Northern and more populated parts of India the industry was booming, and the British Raj Colonial Government decided to build some extra factories inside the region.

In the British Raj, the military industry was quite puny. The industry of the British Raj was barely able to produce one small trading ship every month, and about 10 guns a day.

The Colonial Government also invested quite heavily into industrial research.

And so our Indian journey starts...

This looks nice. HOI3 challenge AARs have always been the most interesting of the bunch and I fully expect that to be the same for HOI4. Good luck!

Ha! This should be great. Especially since you can play in a way--if you so wish--as the hidden force behind the Allies reason for so much success in the real war: the bravery of colonial troops and the vast resources they had at their disposal even though we tend to neglect such contributions. The "side" role can, of course, be just as satisfying as being one of the major powers. After all, lest we forget that over 2.5 million Indians helped fight the Axis during the war, and you can bring a lot of attention to a front that never gets much attention in most HoI AARs--the Far East.

Good luck.
Cheers!

Alright, I'll sub. British Raj has a chance to influence both Europe and the Pacific. Just make sure you have men left to return home in 1941!

Wonder if partition is on the horizon? Haven't played far enough into the game to see what happens to the colonial empires in 46-47

Chapter 1: Great India, reclaim your glory!
On the 11th of March, a telegram from London reached Delhi: 'Chaps, the Jerries have stationed their troops inside the Rhineland. Prepare yourselves for war: It might be coming soon.' Hours later, the Colonial government decided to further industrialise India, hoping that it could become a manufactoring power inside the world. Thousands of Pounds were spend on improving the industry of India.

'Choo Choo', a train said when transporting Indian troops to the Siamese border.

'We need MOAR INDUSTRY!' - The Colonial Government

The Colonial Government has started to opress the great Indian people by centralising the government in Delhi.

The government also decided to follow the lead of the British and focused more on the Liberty of the Indian people.

A new minister had been appointed inside India, a staunch supporter of Democracy. Can we get a democratic India soon? Can we overthrow our Colonial opressor and install a president of India?

Ah, the Olympic Games. It did nothing for us, but atleast we didn't lose, since the British lost, not the Indian people!

A new order came in from the Colonial Government: 'MOAR FACTORIES'.

Just across the Indian Ocean we saw Ethiopia fall to Fascist opression. Stay strong brothers, India will save you! We shall bring freedom and liberty!

Seeing the fall of the Ethiopian Empire, the government in India decided to have more of an interventionist focus: No other nations will fall to Communism, nor Fascism! For great India!

A British tradition: Getting into a queue. A queue to build factories that is.

Spain got into a little civil war.

We have quadrupled our gun production. Sadly for the navy, only one ship a month for now.

We increased our conscription law. Now we have 8 and a half million men that we can throw to their deaths.

Our army is quite... shit. We are improving it as fast as possible.

'MOAR POWER' the Colonial Government screamed when assigning a new minister.

India had build a single piece of artillery. Naturally, they decided to add 72 pieces of artillery to every army.

Great India!

Note: I forgot to screenshot the fact that we got a Military Experience guy now. Sorry. Also, this is my first game. It's going better than expected already.
