Yeah, I tend to think of him in Eyes of the Dragon first for some reason. It may be because I read that before the Stand however.

Got the Roman Empire; it's alive and well :D Actually it wasn't doing that well till I got ahold of it yesterday. How about my first AAR chapter be about Aragon? Otherwise it'll be a bit out of order....

Well that is some luck for you then I guess, isn't it....

Mine Roman Empire was at the brink of some massive BB wars (again ), 25,3/26 (They had been incorporating all of the Balkan states, wihtout CB's). But as I did not want to engage in them another time I did all I could so they would not fire. In the end I had to create 2 vassals at the very very last moment but I avoided the BB-wars. (and got a -3 stab by doing so......).

And then.... Hungaria dow-ed.

Going to read your AAr's and incorporate the stats. It is going well.... ;)

I read almost every boo of 'the king of...' but the eyes of the dragon was to me jsut not his 'thing'.
As for the stand it is very very good, and I like post-apocaliptic stories.

But still, my favorite is, and will remain IT.

Oh, I agree - Eye is definitely unlike most King. To be honest, apart from Drawing of the Three and Insomnia, Id say King is far better with short stories than he is with novels. None of his novels were that scary, but 'Crouch End Towen' has scared the hell out of me since I read it.

That one is called 'The Running Man', but its not under Kings name but his pseudonym. Richard Bachman? Bateman? I cant recall. Its a great story anyway - better in every way than the movie. Shame they wont make it properly.

Stats for aragon are a few posts up.

Ok, I will look for the stats.

The movie was indeed very very bad. And the prseudo = Bachman

Stats for Aragon:

Inflation: +10%
VP: +85
Losses
Infantry: 17823 / 9824 / 7999
Cavalry: 934 / 260 / 674

I hope the triple post wasnt too much, decided to personalise my AAR a bit, so as to make it more fun to write. If its starts getting too long, dont hesitate to say, and I'll tone it back a bit.

How many provinces did you gain in total?

Eh, what is so bad about that?

I have played The Roman empire, wrote the piece (which I will post this afternoon) and I have played England. Will write this week and post it end of the week.

England was a hard game. I started at stab -2 BB 41/25 and with three outstanding loans.

Hey, it is kind of depressing when you finished all the exams and found out there is no more works to do. My whole life was working on these school works!! :( It is just so umm... annoying!!!

I AM VERY BIG TROUBLE IN ROMAN EMPIRE

KofJ is cheerfully running around Asia Minor!!! They captured all my islands and sunk all my navy!! :( That meant my whole army in Northen Africa taking over Rebels. Bulgaria declared indpence and they besiging Thrace and Sibera!! Then my game crash on me in the middle of 1189 but I will have to reload it in from Jan 1189 but it won't make any difference to my problems :D

I am spending my men like water against KofJ and somehow managed to defeat me every time but I am defeating them almost much as them. This is ten year WAR!!! No peace!!! SO KofJ was also wreck with rebellion  : WE is about +10 so far  England, from what I saw was in trouble as well. :D

It is getting more fun as we progress. The mess we created in the early games reflect to us in the later. France in my England game was almost nothing (2 provinces) while Flanders was 7 prov large, they had taken most of the Aragones empire.
My England was 10 years of BB wars against several dozen enemies. Bu, I held off. (how you will see in a week)

Hmm, it looks like I may start gaining. England is powerful, and I did pretty well with the RE. Will see what I can do in the way of gaining on ya'll. I'll try to play England ultra-aggresively. I will be leaving town for 2+ weeks on Thurs, will try to have both posted by then.
