The coupon is regionalized price or not?

I'm from HongKong. The original price of Tyranny is HKD239 = USD30.77
But that is USD44.99 on Paradox Interactive's Store ......

So ..... What currency is used to calculate?
I don't know how paradox handling regional currencies...

(I am more lucky , some countries even more expansive than original price...)

I would like to know that it is regionalized price or not , if I buy it from Paradox Interactive's Store...

The coupon is a percentage ... I don't understand what difference it makes which currency it is applied to?

In any case our Webshop only uses USD, Euros or Pounds Sterling. Any other currency will be converted by your credit card or bank.

It is not the problem of curreny convertion
It is the problem about the price are diffferent in different counties (steam),
But the price on Paradox store is fixed usd44.99.

Some countries are more expansive even using 50%off coupon (Brazil,China......)
Which is not fair , no discount , even more expansive.
I would appericate if paradox can handle this problem.

Not a Tyranny issue so moved to general PI forum.

So your complaint is that buying from the Paradox store with a 50% discount is more expensive than buying from Steam with no discount, depending on the country you are in.

I know the Paradox store does attempt to determine where you are via your IP address. If you have used a VPN to appear like you are in the UK or US, say, then yes it will offer you that country's price.

If that's not the issue, we'll have to wait until Monday for Paradox to be able to comment on this situation. @TinyWiking ?

The discount is, as explained, a percentage and this will be applied to whatever currency you use when making your purchase. The currency is base on your location on the globe and this can't be changed.
