No but the danish have cultural contacts that sweden have less of, the dutch and the brittish, we've been over this. And if you qoute a historian then it got to be sourceable material, you can't just say "I met this guy once and he said".You used it as an argument that swedes and finns were more equal, but I´ll give you the benefit of the doubt there. However the Finns being more equal than Swedes doesn´t make Swedes less equal than the other scandinavians. Dick Harrison did explain that they had many cultural parallels to danes and norwegians, which you argued against.
Not sure about national romantics in Sweden, but in DK they are quite less willing to participate in a union, it´s more of an idea in the general populace that such a union could benefit all and strengthen our mutual position, due to our much easier circumstances to come to agreements and only builds on what we already have agreed upon.
Ah denmark may be part of the beer belt but sweden is part of the vodka belt (at least used to be).Nothing wrong with the ancestry... It´s still in effect, just look at the brawls and drinking that are a vital part of our society ;-)
Really doesn´t see the point, other than speculation and have never heard that it´s the case. Contact with other cultures doesn´t really make the culture change just because of that, they can be influenced, but it requires much more than simply contact. See only a few similarities with english and dutch that is not also applied to swedens similarities to these and can´t be explained by being on the same continent with the same western view.No but the danish have cultural contacts that sweden have less of, the dutch and the brittish we've been over this.
