Just to ask some silly questions: Does this mod work with an Ironman CK2 save or do you have to play a game with this mod installed from the beginning? Also will the new expansions break the mod and require an update? Wondering If I should wait until they're released and this mod updated before starting a mega-campaign.

Just to ask some silly questions: Does this mod work with an Ironman CK2 save or do you have to play a game with this mod installed from the beginning?
This mod unfortunately changes the checksum. If you want to use ironman you'll have to use this mod from the beginning. You also won't earn achievements. :(
Also will the new expansions break the mod and require an update? Wondering If I should wait until they're released and this mod updated before starting a mega-campaign.
This mod will temporarily break in the first few days after the expansion is released. However we'll be working as quickly as possible to get it compatible.

Did and that solved the issue for western Europe, but strangely enough, my KOJ which has almost all of Iberia(except some of the northern bits(Galicia to Navarra + Leon and Salamanca) is still Eastern. What are the key provinces that allow you to get Western?

I don't suppose anyone knows how I can mod this so that it converts the Lilithian and Maryite religions from the "Better Gender Law mod" by TheDarkMaster? I've tried to mod it myself but I've met only with failure.

If you did not have your capital in Western Europe that's why you've not gotten western tech, I remember Keytium and me speaking about expanding the tech system to count European provinces. Not sure what the progress is on that though.

Wherever you capital is located in EU4. Many of our calculations are done post-conversion and rely on EU4 data.

Would anyone know of a way to retain the EU4 India setup of 1444 in a converted game with the mod? As in converting everything normally except India, keeping the EU subcontinent?
Open up 'province_table.csv' go down to near the bottom of the file and delete everything below '#India and Baluchistan:'
The go into 'copy/history/provinces' and delete '578 - Khyber Remove Rebels.txt'

Then have you guys done something for Roman Empire? Because my Roman Empire (capital is Constantinople) got Western Tech. Not that I'm complaining, just curious and I cannot find the related event that might have done that.

I actually picked up an old ck2 save back up to see how it would convert, and I see that the Irish band mercenary group has apparently been ruling Brittany for some decades.
How do mercenary companies convert into eu4? What government type and national ideas do they get?

Ideas set based on the culture of the Ruler (usually the Irish Band will be ruled by an Irishman and get Irish ideas) As far as Government Type i believe if they become a Republic in Ck2 (seen the Company of the Hat do it) they convert as a republic. Otherwise i believe its a Monarchy though the last time i tested this was right after the converter came out.

Minor nitpick, but I am pretty sure that Russian culture in Lithuania should flip to Byelorussian instead. After all Ruthenian (a precursor to modern Ukrainian and Belorussian) was an official language of the GDL and the Belorussians did identify as Litvins and apparently are increasingly doing so now. Or at least it would merit a special case conversion to be converted if it ends up ruled by Belorussians or if the capital is the baltic region.

Just my five cents, since I like the mod I might as well pitch suggestions and hopefully some of them will be good.
