In the 1460's, the Iberian nation that owns Madrid gets an event called "Viva España", where he can decide between "let us take the name Kingdom of Spain" or keep the old name.

SO you can create Spain even if you don't unite with Aragon or Portugal

I think that, for exampel, everyone who wants to get Hernan Cortez must own Estarmaduras (he born in Estarmaduras) and be Iberian Nation.

Well Gorion, if you want to get Cortez you'll need to own Estramaduras, but if what you want is Cortés, you'll need Extremadura

So if Portugal annexes Castile, then proclaimes Spain, then Portugal would get Colon, Cortes, Pizarro and all the gang but they will not get their own explorers & conquistadores?

Hold on im confused now about the whole ' Become Spain' event.
i - From what i've read Gorion has said that whoever owns Marid can become Spain. im fine wid dis.
ii - BUT if Madrid is the capitol of Castile then only Castile can become Spain unless its annexed by Aragon
aint this a little unfair to Aragon ? what happens if Castile has been reduced to only Madrid as its province ??? i hope that owning Madrid and poss. having a RM wid Aragon are the only prerequisites cause seeing Spain being a tiny power next to an almighty Aragon would be silly ! for one thing what would they do with all those explorers and conq's without a port ?????
