I figured this would be good practice for forming the Mongol Empire via the Timurids. For those of you wondering where my original Timurids AAR is going, it's going well. More updates to come along that category. Plus I've been hankering after hordes for a while now, so I figured I might do one of those runs. In case you missed it, here are the goals:

Get to 1821

Back_in_Control.png

Back in Control: Form Yuan and own all of China

Turning_the_Tide.jpg

Turning the Tide: Starting as a steppe nomad, embrace all institutions.

With any luck, we should be able to manage updating two AARs at once. Let's begin :)

We start off by doing the usual horde opening. Not developing for Feudalism. Not when there's territory that has it I can steal from :)

Idea is to get the Tumu crisis. Just be at war with Ming with their incompetent 1/1/1 leader in charge (actually, the ruler needs to have less than 2 mil points for it to start).

We beat them in battle (which was easy. Hordes start off stronger than Chinese units at game start, plus they get -10% morale of armies and -5% discipline til the ruler dies) and rush for Beijing. Ming starts breaking our country apart. We declared a bit slow, so we gave them a chance to build up. Rookie mistake

Esen Taishi knows how to be sneaky. He gets onto Beijing with nothing interrupting him.

20200822152151_1.jpg

This is part of the event. We now have +20% morale of armies and +25% siege ability. This is going well (don't look at our warscore)

20200822152201_1.jpg

Rest in pieces, Mongolia.

20200822152309_1.jpg

Wall breach then water shortage. 2.9k Ming soldiers trot in defeat from a battle Mongolia gave to them. Ming's mandate sits at 50.

20200822152757_1.jpg

We get the capital. North China surrenders, their mandate tanks to zero and we go around killing stacks.

20200822152830_1.jpg

And again.

20200822152845_1.jpg

This is the strength of Ming at 0 mandate. They get +50% shock and fire damage taken. Their armies turn to butter, essentially.

20200822153251_1.jpg

And we're the hot knife.

20200822153448_1.jpg

We take a gamble with a much larger stack.

20200822153511_1.jpg

The situation. Separatists rip through the Empire, as their numbers dwindle fast.

20200822153531_1.jpg

We continue pushing.

20200822153709_1.jpg

A stack appears. You know the drill.

20200822153800_1.jpg

Stackwipe. :)

20200822154359_1.jpg

A successful end to the war, we're only in a little bit of crippling debt and Mongolia is facing civil war. At least Ming's facing one too. We take Ming's gold and pay our loans off.

Not a bad start.

The Mongols shall reign over China once more!

We're back and the no.1 pain has arrived: Rebels. They come and go, and we notice some states have come out of Ming, although they saved themselves from a true Mingsplosion. Truces end. You know what that means.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARR!

20200822160743_1.jpg

We move quickly onto Xi'an.

20200822160809_1.jpg

Wiped.

20200822160909_1.jpg

Here's another stack.

20200822160923_1.jpg

Don't you hate it when you're about to get a piece of land and a breakaway state goes "Guess I'm existing now."

20200822161104_1.jpg

And another one bites the dust. This is why Mandate should never, ever be taken. Get to low Mandate, good luck fighting those wars. Especially after passing a reform.

20200822161219_1.jpg

Ming is sent packing.

20200822161311_1.jpg

They always siege poor Mongolia first. Vassals are fun to abuse :)

20200822165306_1.jpg

We merc up. Not like we have an option, we have negative manpower (thank god it doesn't show actual values, they'd look horrible)

20200822165434_1.jpg

We don't have our siege modifiers anymore :(
We get three Status Quos in a row. Murderous thoughts intensify.

20200822165447_1.jpg

I guess our luck was paid back with time. We get Wall Breach.

20200822165522_1.jpg

Then food shortage.

20200822165627_1.jpg

28% with a food shortage. We get...

20200822165638_1.jpg

the win :)

20200822165708_1.jpg

Drat, they're sieging off Xi'an. Gotta get there.

20200822165729_1.jpg

35% with wall breach. Please don't take the fort back...

20200822165737_1.jpg

We said "Don't let them have the fort". Guess we forgot RNG was deaf and Fortuna is drunk.

20200822165747_1.jpg

We kick their army off the fort and start resieging it.

20200822165758_1.jpg

Here's a handy tip: If the defenders of a fort fall below 100, you take the fort instantly. Here's how it works:
Fort has 100 garrisons -> New turn, check whether garrison is below 100, apply garrison change (eg food shortage, bringing it down to 99)
Fort has 99 garrisons -> New turn, check whether garrison is below 100, fort surrenders.

20200822165926_1.jpg

Meanwhile, our mercs move west.

20200822165937_1.jpg

Or not. Fall back, men.

20200822170004_1.jpg

Our vassal arrives with some units to help us! That'll keep Ming away :)

20200822170013_1.jpg

We move to siege Wuchang, Mongolia attacks Chengdu.

20200822170018_1.jpg

Muscovy rivals Uzbek. War between the two shouldn't be far away.

20200822170043_1.jpg

Can we peace? I think we can.

20200822170138_1.jpg

Aristocratic gets unlocked as our first idea group.

Not a bad start we have here :)
Ming is on the road to collapse with extremely low mandate. Let's see if we can keep this rate of conquest up.

You're doing very well. Hopefully you can keep it up.

Yeah, rebels are a gigantic pain.

Despite all that, Ming still looks very strong on paper. In practice, they're a joke.

20200822170235_1.jpg

Qizhen dies, Qiyu takes power. Their heir is weak claim.

20200822170429_1.jpg

Why? WHY! WE never get you via that event! If you won't have us, you can't let the AI have you either! Stupid Turk lovers. It'll be what runs their nation into the ground.

20200822170509_1.jpg

You DARE! Come at me, you filthy scumbags!

20200822170751_1.jpg

All foolish Chagatai warriors shall perish!

20200822170844_1.jpg

Fight me!

20200822170857_1.jpg

Fools! You will never best us in combat!

20200822170942_1.jpg

Does it feel good? Do you like the situation you're in?

20200822171040_1.jpg

No? Then perish like a fool.

20200822171100_1.jpg

Go get em.

20200822171146_1.jpg

Well that's where half their army went. Have fun, because you're never getting off the fort.

20200822171208_1.jpg

Where is our money going? Why can't we have funds? :(

20200822171326_1.jpg

Their capital falls. We could push for demands.

20200822171331_1.jpg

Keep up the assault!

20200822171530_1.jpg

They learned their lesson. Sarig Yogir would accept vassalisation.

20200822171552_1.jpg

Welcome to the family, little one! :)

Where were we? Oh yes, we just beat Chagatai up.

20200822172007_1.jpg

Oh come onnn... how does this happen? We have 0 corruption, we're the most honest traders you guys have seen!

20200822172127_1.jpg

Yay, rebels. Woohoo, right after I mothballed my forts they spawn ON a mothballed fort.

20200822172200_1.jpg

Mongolia is annexed. Expansion routes into Manchuria are unlocked.

20200822172309_1.jpg

Hey, look! We have 353 dev, making us a GP! It also serves a sinister purpose... you'll see :)

20200822172525_1.jpg

Uzbek and Chagatai go at it. Good. They'll be at war forever.

20200822172539_1.jpg

Separatists? Chagatai separatists? Get rid of them, that province is needed to form Yuan!

20200822172555_1.jpg

Expansion routes aren't going to be used by anyone anytime soon, so it's time for:
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!

20200822172606_1.jpg

Huh. We should stop lying to our estates. Meh. It's a habit we have at this point. Not gonna like the wars of conquest are gonna slow, plus we demand loot to fix the economy!

20200822172700_1.jpg

Meanwhile, we move to put down some separatists. Now let's find some Khanates, poor -

20200822172834_1.jpg

... magnificent things who I don't want to hate me. They allied the Shogunate of Japan? Hmph. This will save them for now.

20200822172848_1.jpg

Oh man, I sure love moving across half my country to beat some rebels up, this game is fun! /s

20200822172934_1.jpg

Huh. The protection Ashikaga offers allows Jianzhou to grow quite large. A little bit too large for our liking.

20200822172946_1.jpg

Oh come on, that's just insulting now. 5/6/5? Why can't we ever get a blessed ruler? Jianzhou lures us in with tempting land, only to crush our dreams. Stupid shogunate. Mental note made to do something about it later.

20200822173041_1.jpg

OH BOY, MOVING ACROSS HALF MY COUNTRY AGAIN. THIS IS FUN. /s

20200822173126_1.jpg

We move in to crush Nivkh.

20200822173149_1.jpg

Some more rebels spawn, thankfully ones closer to our armies. Pesky Yan separatists. Hmph.

20200822173240_1.jpg

We move over to beat some separatists up.

20200822173335_1.jpg

Better start getting Renaissance. Don't want to have to develop for it too late.

20200822173404_1.jpg

We finally knock those separatists out. Ming gets into a regency.

20200822173533_1.jpg

We move in and wipe some minor stacks.

20200822173544_1.jpg

Cmon. Missing 15 reasons before annexation. Gotta get Nivkh out.

20200822173625_1.jpg

Amazing. The Timurids have exploded, Ajam moved into them and they've only got Khorasan and Fars as vassals. Chagatai beat Uzbek. Prepare for a strong western Khanate.

20200822173632_1.jpg

More separatists... yay
We prepare for another wave of them.

20200822173646_1.jpg

But we can finally push a peace offer... right?
Eh, who are we kidding. We can wipe the rebel stacks easily. Next up is the consolidation of Manchuria, because development.

20200822173830_1.jpg

We export some rebels into China. Good, stay there. Traitors are not welcome.

20200822173853_1.jpg

Guess Ming's still going to kill them for us. They're at 20 mandate. Don't ask us how, they just are.

20200822174225_1.jpg

We demand loot and land for the great Khanate of Oirat, so it's time for...
You guessed it, war!

20200822174227_1.jpg

Let's go!

20200822174313_1.jpg

There goes their entire army.

20200822174316_1.jpg

We resume to looting, but we know there's always a battle around the corner.

20200822174342_1.jpg

We move in for the capital of Kuru.

20200822174351_1.jpg

There is always a battle around the corner.

20200822174405_1.jpg

Always.

20200822174419_1.jpg

We begin the siege of Kuru.

20200822174543_1.jpg

Drat, we won't be able to catch them.

20200822174550_1.jpg

Mwaha, mwahaha. See what I mean? 300 dev, not being the EoC's subject/ally and not having a truce with them - nomadic frontier. Sure, war against Ming is good but have you heard about centralising and withering them away while at peace?

20200822174615_1.jpg

Back to Manchuria. Total annexation, nothing more, nothing less.

20200822174620_1.jpg

Why can't we catch their armies? Get them!

20200822174624_1.jpg

Muscovy makes peace with Uzbek. Guess our dominant Khanate will be the Chagadeyids.

20200822174635_1.jpg

So close to Renaissance...

20200822174651_1.jpg

We should probably invade Donghai as well. They're not co-belligerent, so we can't take any land from them.

20200822174709_1.jpg

But first, we must occupy and loot! We demand all the loot!

20200822174810_1.jpg

Sarig Yogir helps out, Kuru sits at 42%.

20200822174918_1.jpg

But first we must stackwipe this annoyance.

20200822174930_1.jpg

Despite being outnumbered, we get excellent rolls and we crush them in a battle.

20200822174937_1.jpg

Our magnificence, our talent... are we the Mongol Empire waiting to happen?

20200822175033_1.jpg

Chant it with us, everybody:

20200822175050_1.jpg

Stack and wipe. Stack and wipe. Stack and wipe!

20200822175126_1.jpg

Success! Donghai is dropped, Yeren is fully annexed. We're starting to lock big and strong now.

Pasttime update: Rebel Routing. Yeah rebels are coming. No way to avoid them except spending huge amounts of mil points, which we aren't doing.

20200822175323_1.jpg

Here they come!

20200822175455_1.jpg

Renaissance is in the capital. We can embrace and tech up soon.

20200822175514_1.jpg

We've embraced the Renaissance! Go us :)

20200822175931_1.jpg

A new Emperor ascends, a diplomat who isn't a diplomat.

20200822175944_1.jpg

Sengge's silver tongue does wonders for us. +10% relations improvement speed.

20200822180116_1.jpg

We can vassalise Kara Del!

20200822180133_1.jpg

Welcome to the family!

20200822180405_1.jpg

Jianzhou insults us by not having Renaissance and being ahead in tech. They'll fall... soon.

20200822180504_1.jpg

Tick tock...

20200822180932_1.jpg

We get to miltech 7. Starting to pull ahead.

20200822180953_1.jpg

Peace isn't doing our nation much good. The people are getting uppity and are resorting to revolts to get some military action rolling.

20200822181030_1.jpg

Crush the revolt!

20200822181117_1.jpg

Korea and Jianzhou are at war. Since Jianzhou doesn't have a navy, they must of called Ashikaga in. Both are distracted.

20200822181206_1.jpg

Nomad Frontier fires for Ming. They're stuck with -0.3 mandate per month and will be frozen at 0 mandate and incur disaster penalites. Time to end this Empire!

20200822181214_1.jpg

See what I mean? Frozen at 0 mandate.

20200822181253_1.jpg

Time to prepare for...

20200822181332_1.jpg

WAR!

20200822181439_1.jpg

Ming decides to attack us, despite having 1/3 of the numbers and no mandate.

20200822181456_1.jpg

Oh. They had reinforcements waiting. Still wasn't very smart. Changxun leads his army, and is sent packing.

20200822181513_1.jpg

Ming exports rebels into our territory. Yay...

20200822181522_1.jpg

Huh. That's a big stack of Ming troops. Maybe they won't attack us?

20200822181722_1.jpg

They decide they'd rather not and we take Wuchang.

20200822181752_1.jpg

Might as well take care of the smaller stacks to weaken Ming's manpower.

20200822181800_1.jpg

We move into Jin (they are a tributary of Ming) to get a Ming stack deleted.

20200822181815_1.jpg

That stat difference... what is causing it?

20200822181849_1.jpg

We get ready to start sieging again.

20200822181917_1.jpg

Ming stacks are everywhere. Can't really do much about them, this stack is our smaller one.

20200822182044_1.jpg

We let our main stack catch up and we bring a stackwipe in.

20200822182120_1.jpg

Hmph. They're unsieging. Gotta do something about that.

20200822182346_1.jpg

Wait, if Ming's defenses are so far forward, why can't we go around and siege Yangzhou?

20200822182450_1.jpg

Or not. Now we have to resiege Wuchang.

20200822182530_1.jpg

Ming spreads their forces thin. This will make things easy.

20200822182623_1.jpg

Liang separatists sit in Nanyang. Wuchang is the wrong culture, they won't attack us.

20200822182746_1.jpg

Of course they ignore the rules of rebels being in primary culture lands and hit Wuchang. We stackwipe them.

20200822182802_1.jpg

Wuchang falls again and we move to Runing.

20200822182830_1.jpg

We decide to flank their defenses from Shangqiu to Xuzhou to the Imperial Court.

20200822182903_1.jpg

We move into Haizhou into Huai'an into Yangzhou. Their defenses don't seem to grasp the situation and idle.

20200822182910_1.jpg

What? They flanked us? Grr. More work for us to do.

20200822182931_1.jpg

The gates are open. All units move to Yangzhou!

20200822183019_1.jpg

Their defenses are still sitting idly, not moving. 39k Ming troops are immobilised.

20200822183059_1.jpg

Even when a friendly army moves through they still won't move? Are they striking against the Emperor?

20200822183142_1.jpg

Of course they're going to go for our capital...

20200822183208_1.jpg

We sit on -14% for the siege.

20200822183228_1.jpg

Food shortage. Those units are striking, we're sure of it. Can such a thing happen?

20200822183319_1.jpg

They begin sieging Wuchang off again. Great. 21% on Yangzhou and we get...

20200822183323_1.jpg

Water shortage. Next siege phase and we get...

20200822183342_1.jpg

The fort :)

We rush to Wuchang to prevent them from unsieging it.

20200822183437_1.jpg

42% on Wuchang.

20200822183445_1.jpg

We move as fast as possible before they get it.

20200822183455_1.jpg

All of a sudden the units activate and move for Wuchang.

20200822183500_1.jpg

We stackwipe them and prevent a capture of the fort.

20200822183616_1.jpg

We peace out, taking 9 provinces in two full states. We're getting stronger :)

Time for some more rebels and mapstaring.

20200822184554_1.jpg

Rebels first, though.

20200822184607_1.jpg

They're gone.

20200822185354_1.jpg

Proper Mingsplosion when? They had Min, Jin and Yan as breakaway states. Too bad these are noble rebels.

20200822185406_1.jpg

OE goes to zero, most rebels call it quits.

20200822185517_1.jpg

We integrate Sarig Yogir.

20200822190352_1.jpg

Jianzhou takes a big bite out of Donghai.

20200822190724_1.jpg

Ashikaga broke with Jianzhou ages ago, and they're left with no allies. Time to show them who's the better Khan.

20200822190739_1.jpg

Our 3/4/4/0 meets their finest 2/1/1/0. He laughs in their face and makes them do the walk of shame.

20200822190749_1.jpg

They attack us, this time we have the terrain advantage.

20200822190757_1.jpg

Stackwipe. :)

20200822190917_1.jpg

We begin pushing into Jianzhou.

20200822191048_1.jpg

Our 3/5/4 becomes a 4/5/4. Not gonna argue, a 13-point ruler is good.

20200822191114_1.jpg

Korea decides to invade as well.

20200822191248_1.jpg

They beat us to most of the western provinces, while we reign supreme in the central and eastern regions.

20200822191340_1.jpg

They siege Ningxia, so our attention is diverted. We move to kill it.

20200822191448_1.jpg

They like us? What is this nonsense? We should be feared, not liked!

20200822191720_1.jpg

We get to miltech 8. We are starting to lead the world and get ahead of Europe.

20200822192608_1.jpg

We get call for peace (stupid Koreans occupying the land we need) and we make peace with Jianzhou. We attack Ming again.

We go after their larger stacks first.

20200823125147_1.jpg

No prisoners.

20200823125156_1.jpg

NONE!

20200823125238_1.jpg

Stackwipe.

20200823125334_1.jpg

Why did you do this Korea, just... why...
You've made two new headaches for us, and you didn't even take anything either.

20200823125353_1.jpg

Stack and wipe. Stack and wipe. Stack and wipe.

20200823125436_1.jpg

Finally, something to brag about! None of our enemies have been gifted once, we have finally received something!

20200823125534_1.jpg

For a mission, we improve with Sirhind.

20200823125543_1.jpg

We start planning on how we issue a cleanup. It's gonna happen sooner or later.

20200823125552_1.jpg

We attack Yangzhou and Nanjing.

20200823125613_1.jpg

When there is light, there is darkness. Always.

20200823125711_1.jpg

Yangzhou falls, Nanjing gets a wall breach.

20200823125807_1.jpg

Nanjing falls and we plan to get a border with Yangzhou.

20200823125817_1.jpg

They won't accept peace? Guess we're gonna be sieging stuff for the long haul.

20200823125844_1.jpg

We move to Wuchang and Nanyang.

20200823130022_1.jpg

Ming carpet sieges us up north and attacks Jianzhou, rebels pop in Manchuria.

20200823130107_1.jpg

We take a few ducats and some land.

20200823130157_1.jpg

Nice. Our green tech contrasts with their yellow. Tech differences are going to make the conquest a lot easier.

20200823130207_1.jpg

Time to raze! We unlock humanist ideas (it's going to help with the conquests of China) and get our first idea. Speaking of which, what are our ideas?

1598237982563.png

Huh. Those are pretty good. We get +20% cav combat ability and -20% core creation cost. Already that's powerful. Key ones to look for are -15% AE impact and the +5% discipline.

20200823130355_1.jpg

We move along and clean a revolt up. Age of Reformation begins soon.

20200823130421_1.jpg

We move to fix it.

20200823130440_1.jpg

Time to clean the mess that Korea left for us.

20200823130503_1.jpg

Stackwipe. Now we just sit on them and their nation falls.

20200823130724_1.jpg

Colonialism has spawned. We develop for it.

20200823130739_1.jpg

Separatists... yay
Mental note made to fix the economy.

20200823130817_1.jpg

We reunite the Mongol tribes.

20200823130822_1.jpg

We are all Mongols!

20200823130825_1.jpg

The Mongols shall rise again!

20200823130932_1.jpg

Lots of perma-claims. Maybe we can do something about it?

20200823131031_1.jpg

Ming declares war on Haixi. They're trying to regain lost flair by extending their Empire's reach.

20200823131034_1.jpg

We decide consolidation of Manchuria will have to do. It'll require breaking the Ming hegemony here first, however.

20200823131037_1.jpg

They have a grip on the Manchuria region, but only barely.

20200823131115_1.jpg

Crownland exceeds 60%. Our control over the tribes is looking solid.

20200823131141_1.jpg

The tribes are disunited, this is perfect. Consolidation could be done with multiple wars at once if the Ming hadn't made tributary arrangements with them all.

20200823131213_1.jpg

Tribal rebels, gotta take care of them before the next wars.

20200823131459_1.jpg

That's been taken care of. Let's prepare a bit more.

20200823131608_1.jpg

We move units into position.

20200823131642_1.jpg

Oh? Korea broke tributary status? Time for an invasion!

20200823131840_1.jpg

Go!

20200823132033_1.jpg

Time to engage them in combat.

20200823132040_1.jpg

Stackwiped! We finally accomodated a proper template: 10/5/5. Good fighting power.

20200823132224_1.jpg

They attack us and are repelled.

20200823132252_1.jpg

Korea peaces out with Ming. We get ready to continue the fight.

20200823132443_1.jpg

64% on Hanseong with a forced breach.

20200823132525_1.jpg

We get Colonialism in Kobdo.

20200823132709_1.jpg

With that out of the way, we target the small Khanate of Donghai, overlords of Nivkh. We can steal them for ourselves!

20200823133021_1.jpg

We move to catch Nivkh's forces.

20200823133158_1.jpg

Our brilliant 4/5/4 takes the helm, and we get a 2/6/0 heir.

20200823133245_1.jpg

We annex Donghai and get Nivkh as a vassal.

20200823133457_1.jpg

Humanist is our second group. It'll help stabilise the Empire and prevent revolts.

20200823133559_1.jpg

Our next target is Jianzhou, again.

20200823133841_1.jpg

We attack a loose stack moving around in Korchin.

20200823133911_1.jpg

Rebels rip throughout Ming Manchuria, with Jianzhou leading them. I feel like this will destroy the Ming remnants here.

20200823134017_1.jpg

Tribal rebels pop again. Get used to them, they'll be the most common rebel type.

20200823134052_1.jpg

Let's make sure they don't have a standing army to resist.

20200823134224_1.jpg

We take their provinces, Korchin finishes them off. Manchuria is looking more and more consolidated. This is good.

20200823134349_1.jpg

Huh. Jianzhou rebels force Ming's grip on the region? Time for a third round, and since they've been released, there aren't any truces protecting them. WAR!

20200823134401_1.jpg

Time for re-annexation.

20200823135001_1.jpg

We take Shenyang and move for Hetu Ala.

20200823135302_1.jpg

We ally Ashikaga. It secures us from an attack across the sea.

20200823135603_1.jpg

But, again: more war with China must be had!

China seems to be falling under Oirat domination...

Let the Yuan Dynasty be renewed!

20200823135622_1.jpg

Let's start the carpet sieging. No no, don't run. It's better for you to die sword in hand.

20200823135630_1.jpg

gg no re

20200823135737_1.jpg

They found our spy? Hmph. Not necessary. Could walk circles around Ming easily.

20200823135904_1.jpg

We capture Yangzhou and start moving to stackwipe some stacks.

20200823135935_1.jpg

Easy. This is why Mandate is bad at low mandate. Just don't take it, if that's your thing. Or do. Whatever. It's up to you. We prefer being nomads, so we can pillage things.

20200823140441_1.jpg

Tip for those at low Mandate: Never split your stacks up.

20200823140445_1.jpg

Debt isn't an issue. We're already in debt and we make a good amount of money anyways. Not wasting that 1 stab.

20200823141542_1.jpg

Turns out some South-east Asian nations are quick to arrive. Hmph. No matter. They'll eat Empire of China in name and go collapse.

20200823141616_1.jpg

oh come... on... BE GENTLE! Please?
Never take 100 OE unless you're confident you can manage it. Or you're doing a WC. OE is a number on WC.

20200823141643_1.jpg

Vivid green = very good tech

20200823141755_1.jpg

Ming's going to lose the EoC and Ayutthaya's getting it. Meanwhile we marvel at our court: 4/5/4 ruler with Strict and Inspiring leader (Conqueror trait would make him the perfect conqueror, apart from being 6/6/6) and our consort is below average with Conqueror. Good setup for conquests.

20200823141813_1.jpg

STOP!

20200823141834_1.jpg

oh come on, 66k Tribal Rebels? Yeah we aren't going through that hell. Ducats are kinda hard to come by, manpwoer not so much.

20200823141907_1.jpg

We arrange a compromise and release Xi.

20200823141950_1.jpg

How'd you get here? No matter. WAAAAR!

20200823142034_1.jpg

Could kill Ming some more...

20200823142112_1.jpg

Like father, like son.

20200823142124_1.jpg

We wouldn't get much from killing Ming. Plus they're an OPM. Nobody will care.

20200823142229_1.jpg

Jianzhou falls, hopefully for the final time.

20200823142425_1.jpg

So does Korchin. No annoying tribes are in the way of us now! TO CHINA!

Most of China is now conquered. The Ming are dead!

Who holds the title of Emperor of China?

No tribes left to kill. Maybe some warlords will do.

20200823142736_1.jpg

Time to kill Yan.

20200823142808_1.jpg

Ming's getting crushed everywhere. After this finishes, Crisis of the Ming dynasty will fire and screw them up even harder.

20200823142924_1.jpg

There goes Ming. Miao pops out. Any nation that gets released is easy pickings.

20200823143344_1.jpg

Ming continues to crumple up and die.

20200823143753_1.jpg

We invade Miao.

20200823143817_1.jpg

Jin comes along for the ride but gets wiped efficiently.

20200823143925_1.jpg

Miao gets annexed. Everybody is running up and down Ming.

20200823143949_1.jpg

We get influence ideas. Good for LD reduction, also gives us reduced diplo-annex cost and some dip-rep.

20200823144004_1.jpg

That 20% CCR reduction, so so powerful.

20200823144438_1.jpg

See what I mean? Not only do they not have control of Beijing and Nanjing, they now have this. No mandate for Ayyuthaya, they're condemned to collapse.

20200823144452_1.jpg

Ming peasants fight our separatists. Thanks.

20200823144458_1.jpg

Ruler change. The 2/6/1 is in charge.

20200823145316_1.jpg

Japan unites itself and invades Korea.

20200823145547_1.jpg

We fully fill Aristocratic ideas. We now get a tech cost reduction, stacking with -10% miltech cost too.

20200823145715_1.jpg

Ayutthaya begins cultivating a lot of enemies. Us included.

20200823145732_1.jpg

We steal their maps and see what we need to accomplish exactly.

20200823150005_1.jpg

The estates tell us to go vassalise Kham. We oblige accordingly.

20200823150340_1.jpg

Wars are becoming simpler and easier. We need a bigger threat to fight.
