Okay, first up guys, get off your high horses and get back on topic.
If you think someone is trolling or name calling, that is what moderators are for. Either pm a moderator about the message or report the message. If you think someone is trolling, they are looking to get a rise out of you and all you are doing is playing into there hands and getting in trouble in the process.
Regardless of what someone says, you should never attack a person, only there ideas. At the same time you shouldn't use the attack on the idea to attack the person. Believe it or not, but us moderators are human and we can read into very thinly veiled insults. Also, you aren't going to be very welcomed by the community if every post you make, unnecessarily, insults people.
TL;DR Report button is your friend, use it.

That doesn't surprise me!
Do you also prefer calculus to algebra? I suspect so. I think your suggestions re: "continuity" indicate a preference for continuous over discrete representations, while the pop system itself has the tell-tale signs of being designed by people with a preference for discrete, integer representations. I think your suggestions are fine, by the way, but I also think this is very much a "vanilla vs. chocolate" thing. That is to say: a matter of taste, rather than one approach being strictly better.
Speaking of: have you seen or played Children of a Dead Earth? If you like calculus and science fiction... you may enjoy it.
