Just a quick thought. Many are the nations which can revolt away in several different provinces, Russia, Poland, France, England, Sweden ETC. Sometimes (at least when revolting against the AI) these revolters are quite succesfull and manage to retake much of their old territory.
One thing will still remain odd in those cases, however, the capital will still remain in the provice where the country revolted, meaning a Sweden with its capital in Savolax, or England with its capital in Cornwall. My point is that this sillyness could easily be avoided with some simple events.
Something like "Out Revolt has been succesful, and we have retaken our ancesteral capital, shall we move our government back to its rightful location?" Action A would move the capital and maybe add some stability, troops and maybe even some centralization (to represent the new (revolutionary) government growing in power and becoming more legitimate), while Action B would let the capital stay, maybe with adverse effects, like decentralization or something.
How about it?
