I'd always wanted something like this, but i just don't have the modding savvy. I know some of the basics, but my events often have problems. nontheless I would like to help in any way I can.

This might be useful.

I reckon having the UK get gradually involved , sending more and more troops in via Halifax might be an idea? then, the US has to attack quickly to offset reiforcements (which would take time to arrive) whilst the Canadians must hold out against overwhelming odds before counterattacking.

To be honest, I think a good timeline would be for a general dissillusionment with democracy in 1929/1930 leading to a military junta or fascism in the US? I can't think of any other reason for them to go to war in this period. This could also lead to some ideaoligically unsound US divisions being poorly motivated conscripts= less of a walkover for them early on.

One event I would like to see is for a Canada, when going down the tube, to turn to a fanatical, radicalized government, ie go Nazi or similar. Something similar happened in Hungary with the Arrowcross party. A sort of 'no surrender?'

I am currently playing a game as Germany, where in 1937 I invaded the states from central america, kept good relations with the allies, and set up the states as a puppet (CSA and CAL separate). AAaannnyway my point is, when war broke out between myself and the allies, I expected the americans to have no trouble taking canada (being they were national socialist, huge economy, and had a fair amount of time to build troops), but it was pathetic. Canada's army pushed through New England and managed to take new york. They made the largest gains in the prairies, canadian armour swept down from alberta, saskatchewan, manitoba, and cut the states in two. If I hadn't finally intervened it would have lights out for the americans.

RIght my point... When it comes to pure economics, military, manpower, resources etc. America certainly has the advantage, but their AI is lacking when it comes to near threats. Might need some fancy work.
