Dear @Paradox, I was looking at the focus tree of Bulgaria and to my surprise, if you want to unite Bulgaria with her old territories you have to overthrow Tsar Boris III. In fact, many bulgarians during that time had the opinion that Tsar Ferdinand was guilty of those two national catastrophes which split Bulgaria and that's why he abdicated the throne. His son actually, Boris III, managed to unite Bulgaria even for a short time. Firstly trough the Treaty of Craiova on 7 September 1940 which was a great success for Bulgarian diplomacy and secondly trough the alliance with Germany where Macedonia and Thrace were given back to Bulgaria (territories mostly populated by native bulgarians). In conclusion, I would like to say that Boris III is one of the greatest Bulgarian rulers who managed to unite the bulgarian people and saved the bulgarian jews from the nazi regime. Nowadays we know Boris III as the Unifier of Bulgaria, not his father - tsar Ferdinand! And last but not least Boris III was not a dictator but a ruler who had to make decisions instead of the weak politicians in the Bulgarian parliament at that time. Please check on this. My suggestion is to keep Tsar Boris III as a non-aligned playable option until his historical death.

take a better look at the focus, you can unite the balkans and join the axis or the allies with Boris as well.

Now I see, It was a little bit confusing for me because of the two political focuses ( both for non-aligned and fascist ) where at the non-aligned branch it seems like you rush the time to overthrow Tsar Boris and even so if I don't want Bulgaria to become fascist and remain non-aligned I will have to choose "Found the Brannik" and wait until the historical death of Boris III for the option to choose Ferdinand as a leader and still be non-aligned.
One more question. If I choose non-historical mod is there any difference in Tsar Boris's death (time). Thank you for your support and I'm very pleased that Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey are finally here to play with.
