I have played some more in my Japan game.

The war in China continued to go slow, but during autumn -38 the Chinese started to have heavy ESE problems due to low IC. My TC went to the red at about the same time, but at least stayed just over the limit.

I slowly took the Chinese out, Nat. China was annexed early May -39, and Com. China a little later, late June - 39. So war in China lasted for almost 2 years, a long time without manpower from Korea/China that I suspect will come to haunt me later.

TC situation is horrible, it stayed in the red even in peacetime until almost all of China was garisioned (with all available troops).

I have now played until spring -40, I am currently IC whoring at try to improve the IC situation somewhat, and building up stockpiles of resources. The war with the allies won´t be easy with this TC situation...

Oh wow I want the new graphics! And I was thinking maybe I could do a British AAR with the beta for both a test and a show of your new mod, what do you think? With the Christmas season coming I'm out of college so I'll have plenty of time on my hands.

@ all : i've tried a fix for the limit system, i think now you won't have any pops up with deacti/acti (you'll just have the deacti and if you disable units, the reacti) but it needs to be tested.
I've made the chanegs for Germany, if someone could test and tell me if it works i'll do the chanegs for all countries.

One question, is the Soviet Winter War suppose to end with the Soviet Union getting no territory? I know in context they only wanted some small land not represented on the map, but I wanted to ask you.

I'm currently playing a DAIM/SMEP etc. game, and while the Russian AI is pretty good, I find that, just like with all other games I've played(whether CORE or whatever), the British AI virtually never bothers to invade Continental Europe, in the early years - the only times that it happened was once when the UK invaded Norway during Barbarossa, and once when the AI invaded an Axis-allied Portugal. This leads to a highly unrealistic setting where I, as Germany, can easily afford to leave only a mere handful of garrison units in occupied France, with the certainty that the UK will never invade, at least not until 1944. Yet, historically, the UK did try to invade Dieppe(in 1942, as I recall). I presume that what one could do is get the British AI to invade early if there are less than a certain number of units(with adequate strength) garrisoned in Axis-controlled countries bordering the Atlantic.

I cannot really compare it with SMep or Daim cause its my mod and of course i'll tell you its better. But i can show you quotations from players :

Simply you need more planning and serious force-concentration to penetrate the enemy's frontline (with coordinated airforce ofc) then you must exploit the gap and let your mechanized forces encircle the enemy.

The Italy AI did a good job with landings at Suez before the Brits could drive them out. America AI had 3 landings in France driven back, but they managed to invade Japan’s home islands which really impressed me. I really enjoyed the game
