AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT​

My Fellow Readers,
I have broken the hands-off rules. The fear that a yankee-dominated america would provoke a never-ending naval stalemate with the Eurasian Allies, thus making the AAR boring, was too big for me to handle. Thus, I loaded as the US and typed "dissent" two times, in the cheat box, hoping that this would weaken the United States and thus giving the Allies the upper hand.
cries of "what have I done" followed.
for some reason, the US now has a revolt risk of 100% in its occupied provinces, and more than 25 in the homeland. Its IC went from 430 to 12, and revolts are not local, like i originally thought they would be, they're happening EVERYWHERE from New York to the Patagon. In it's current situation, the US would fall in less than a year.
But most importantly, i feel BAD. I feel like i have cheated on the people who were bold enough to put their remaining dollahz in the survival and triumph of the United States. I have cheated on you, and i am ashamed.
Oh, now comes the most important part: I DO NOT HAVE A BACKUP SAVE.
how cool is that? the US is now officially STUCK in its current positon, and my mistakes cannot be undone.
currently, we have these options:
-a really, really cool person, really guardian-angel like, could help me mod the game. sadly, I don't think Arma(that's the version i use) has a modding option.
-the start of a new 1936 game. everyone will get their money back, and the winners from previous games(basically, Alexon47) will retain what they won.
- we continue the current game and every single person that bet on Fortress America will get 100 dollahz.

i also came up with another idea: I'll give 100% dissent to the major allies: britain, france, poland and brazil (which even though not being really important, is still the last ally opposing the US in America, which gives them a tremendous advantage if the US collapses under revolution)

Why stop at them? Give all countries (even minor powers) 100% dissent!

ok, so I liked SovietAmerika's proposal, and i realized that this gave the opportunity for many "revolter" countries to appear. also, after letting the game play itself for awhile, I also saw that dissent was nosediving pretty much everywhere, so it was not as dramatic as i anticipated.
in other words, update today, even though smaller

the beginning of 1944 brings the fall of yet another south-american minor. as of now, only brazil and uruguay are resisting(bolivia is at war with the alliance but not with America). the effects of dissent also seem negligible.

Uruguay soon follows and Brazil is now alone. the brazilian pocket in colombia(13 divisions) is cleaned. a brazilian counter-attack in the river plate is repulsed.

the Asian front. euh, not much fight to show i guess... all of japanese siberia has fallen, but japan still holds korea and a little province in transamur. in the meantime, the British Raj collapses.

yay revolters! the people of Iceland overthrows the british tyrants.

the story of bolivia was a sad one. It's resistance was comparable to that of Finland in the Winter war. in march 1944, america started the invasion of bolivia. the country was cut into two halves, and the eastern one soon fell. but the poor infrastructure slowed the americans, and bolivia could rebuild some of it's army. as of the end of May, bolivia was reduced to La Paz. For about 2 months, the entrenched bolivian soldiers stayed in their mountain capital and sent the americans packing, several times. then in August, bolivia counterattacked and retook Cohija and Riberalta. but La Paz was left unguarded, and after a few tries that lasted about a month, US troops finally occupied La Paz. bolivia was annexed.

after losing about a third of it's army in the colombian pocket, brazil is down to a few coastal provinces.

i counted and there were 322 dollahz in bets that failed. I also have 6 people to which distribute the prize for guessing about the creation of fortress america.
this being, every person that bet in fortress america will get... err, about 53 dollahz.
