not jenius, not strong but ATTRACTIVE!! Why??

Just speaking from my own experience: in the world dominated by male rulers, an ATTRACTIVE female grants +30 to relations to the opposite sex. Should the other ruler be count, Pope, Emperor or infedel/heretic - you will always have +30 towards him.

Good to keep in mind while save/reloading- to have the perfect heir, right?

I might have to agree since 2 genius's seem to produce way to imbeciles and slow kids. I think I am staying away from genius's now!! Not fun going from a demense of 8 to 4 and no way to increase it!! Though I do not reload, I just bite the bullet and play on. Just when you think you have a good breeding program, dna says you are wrong!!

The reason 2 genius's seem to produce idiots is because being gifted also increases the chance of bad congenital traits, as well as good. But yes. Attractive female rulers are da shit.

I had a female charecter once, Queen Elinora the Fair, who had the attractive trait. She kept her realm in line not with her intelligience, wisdom, or virtue, but with her shapely gams.hmy: Even the Caliph coudn't resist her charms!

No. It still happens. Way too often. Frankly, I think it's a problem in the code. I don't think Paradox means for this to happen, and I don't think they know why it's happening, and I don't think they're going to ever take the time to sort through why it's happening. Just my take.

I only do that when the ruler dies randomly and is too young. Still learning the game, but I would think that save/reloading for traits is a bit much.

IMO Attractive trait should remove the penalty for female ruler. Likewise an attractive female heir should incur no opinion penalty.

Most women pre-photographic times were described as beautiful even if they weren't for propaganda reasons and helping them get married.

It works alright however it is an absolute nuisance trying to find a husband that shares that trait (let alone having decent stats) who is willing to marry matrilineally. Its crazy a steward of a count would rather die childless than loose his name to a queen

You dont really need to reload over and over again for the perfect heir. I kept getting genius/attractive and sometimes BOTH in my game as the countess of Nájera (now Roman Empire). Sometimes my first son/daughter didnt have either so i had to kill them, but that was all.

Nothing better than a 120-150% fertility attractive young lady (with absolute cognatic sucession rule) to create a long lasting dynasty. I got way over 6000 dynasty members now and its only 1200.
