And a very close game against an excellent opponent, watch this one if you're only interested in watching one game. I couldn't decide on a side to focus on and made a lot of awful micro moves, so most of the failings in this replay are on me rather than the deck:

Still, Windhund is easily a top-tier 1v1 deck, make no mistake.
As I've mentioned in other threads, the supposed MG/mortar/AT meta suffers from poor breakthrough capability and inflexible, slow AT pieces. Since Windhund's got a very good arty complement in addition to its tanks/vehicles, you can break up static lines and start pushing more easily than you can with an infantry deck.
There's certainly alternatives to 3.FJ. I'm surprised to see so much focus on infantry when vehicles have most of the firepower and benefit from the Borg-like spotting behavior in Steel Division (and the Wargame series).
