The best AI Golden Horde I've ever seen

I wasn't able to see how the AI did it since I'm playing SE Asia nation. But from the map, it seems that Golden Horde managed to get to the sea very early from Crimea, and they since got colonizing ideas. They also beat Kazan and Nogai to reach Siberia before the Russians did, and colonized from there... These colonies are all theirs, not seized from Moscovy. And they are colonizing.

Maybe I'll see them reforming government, then westernize and annex Russia in this game! LOL

Muscovy's AI is broken in 1.8 so it's really no big deal.

It's not broken though some says that underperform comparing to previous patches and that's quite good, seeing everytime the same is quite abhorring. Besides some people don't remember times where almost every game in 1.0 Muscovy got Times of Troubles wrecking them

The reason GH does well is quite simple, Crimea no longer on a day 1 ally Ottos so they DOW them right of the bat annexing or vassalizing. From there it's quite easy to pile up on a Kazan or Nogay to get more land while western border is secured and having alliance with Ottos which always happens in current patch whether Crimea exists or not.

I wouldn`t say muscovy AI is underperforming, in my portugal game they reach manchuria in about 1650... That GH thou... ^ ^ and why I never get PLC in my games ?

May be true about MUS AI underpreforming, thou in my last brandenburg run I saw Novogrod all over russia, still fighting hordes in 1600'. It's nice to see things going differently sometimes

It's called 1.8 GFX. Now the version is 1.3. You can find it in Steam workshop.
And, yes, it is ironman compatible.

There are two versions, one is ironman compatible and the other one is not. Same author.
I am using the compatible one.
