Takes some champagne wine as well...

CHEERS for MrT! Although I didn't meet you around here, I know much of you, and your presence can never be forgotten! Then, CHEERS!
:p

Rulers of the Seven Seas has just been updated. Check it out! And yes, if anyone of you would like to see, Stroph has just finished the first version of the LibrAARy for Victoria. Cheers for Stroph!

And check out his never-ending <tm> Brunei AAR!

A Smithwick (I think that is the name of Mr T:s favourite beer) please Amric. Judge solemnly takes a sip of the beer. Maybe he will be back some day. Lady F I think Stroph 1 have been busy updating the Victoria library great work I must say.

I have been awfully busy at work and will be so for a couple of days next week but after that I will try to update my AARs more often, at least before the Christmas vacation.

An old goodie Miss Clio from Director is very good, go on an read.

Hm nice beer, this Smithwick, Mr T certainly has class. And don’t forget my update in the Cum Deo AAR, Messalina Beaver is special.

If you have some time over do check out my latest update in my Chile AAR called Blood and Iron, La Gran Cruzada, some nice wars there

Haven't had much call for that beer, Judge. Glad to dust off another bottle for you if you'd like. Do you people realize that there is only 31 votes for the Best MP AAR voting? The lions share is for Machiavelli, but only 31 votes is truly awful. I know we can do better than that. I have faith in you all. Make me proud. I updated my own Cyprus AAR Friday night/Saturday Morning...I have to admit I haven't gotten out of the fifteenth century yet, but the natives I am going up against are VERY clever, except for this group from Cuba...but that is part of the story. You should read it. You should also read LordLeto's Arrakan AAR. It's a fascinating read, and a real change of pace for him and in a location that has only recently gotten some AAR attention in quite some time. Ladyfabia has TWO AAR's from that general region<aka, SouthEast Asia>, and of course Stroph1's opus on Brunei, which is a must read.

And Director did a nice poem using Miss Clio as inspiration. Pretty funny stuff, actually. I suggest you read it. The Free Company is still going on, and things are about to get exciting again. Once we get that opportunity to go after Nissa. I think from that point things are going to be hopping for quite some time, I would imagine. Check it out!

That would be me, Becky....:D No, you don't have to do that. You are absolutely right. Lady Europa's Russian AAR about Peter the Great written from the viewpoint of the women who surround him during his reign. It's actually quite good, and I feel badly that I haven't said anything about it until now. I highly recommend it, and suggest you give it a look!

"Stroph1, please update the librAARy. It have been a long time since the last update."

Last up date was on November 17th. It won't be updated again until the new year (and that one may be delayed because that is when by baby is due).

ladyfabia, did I miss something on the last update?

:D

Also in honor of MrT I've pulled out his X-mas tale, "A Visit from St. Nicholas of Myra".

Drops thick and dusty book on the table, checked out from the LibrAARy.

It's a year old, but it's a great holiday tale. If you weren't around this time last year, check it out it's a great story.

Heads back out into the bitter cold looking for more lost treasures...

Walks in and looks around the bAAR and the Forum as a whole in general. Fiddling with his top hat, he has a confused look on his face.

"Am I going crazy or did the forum just get a facelift? Everything looks different. Not bad, just.. different."

EDIT: "Also, how come I lost my rank and became just a registered user? Is there any way for me to change that and if so how? "

Valdemar smiles, So many confused customers

"Easy my friends easy, it is still in its tweaking phase, look at the announcement on the top of each forum."

He sips his morning coffee,

"Also, you may get something of the old look back if you fiddle with the options in your User CP, there is some display options there."

Like he does every one in a while, Anibal steps inside the bAAR.

Hey, Amric! Give me some porto! I have just updated the Rulers of the Seven Seas! And now I bring some new great news, since Judge has joined my tale as a guest writer! Give him some wine too, because he'll need it!

Sits down.

I see we don't have a weekly showcase this week. What happened? Plenty of new AARs here, of good new AARs IMHO! A showcase would be most appropriate!

And by the way see the mess I had to do with my signature. One thing you all will notice when you update your signatures: there is a new 500 characters limit (including things like COLOR or URL commands). I think I'll do like Haiji Giray and Judas Macabeus... to prepare a sig substitute.

With this, Anibal asks for more Porto.

LD shuffles into the bAAR and sits down. "Beer m... er, change that to water." He overhears Anibal commenting about the lack of a Weekly Showcase. "Due to health reasons, I haven't been as diligent as usual. I know there are several worthy candidates, but for this week they will just have to wait." He produces a notebook and prepares for a possible Milk & Cookies session with MrT and Castellon...

“Sorry to hear about your health problems LD”. Judge picks up a Sam Adams and takes a sip. “However I am convinced that some Milk & Cookie sessions will improve your health”. Judge carefully studies the bottle. “Actually drinking alcohol, frequently seem to have an amazing positive impact on your health, haven’t been ill once this autumn/winter. Well cheers LD and cheers Mr T; would love to read one of your drunken AARs again”.

LD, here is a water, and how about some hot herbal tea with some honey? That couldn't hurt, after all. Seems a lot of us here have been having health problems the last few months. Maybe it's the water. Don't drink that water! Have the tea instead!

Judas, how about some dry garlic toast as well, eh? Garlic is good for what ails a person. Maybe make a few with some mozzarella cheese as well....

“Well you know all these parties that you have to go to before Christmas, yesterday it was Christmas party at work so I decided to dedicate this day to some serious writing, eh serious may not be a good word to describe what I have been producing but never mind. Amric a beer please, yeah those dusty Smithwicks are fine but I guess you will have to buy some more now that Mr T is back again. Cheers Mr T and I really recommend everybody to check out Mr T´s latest AAR John´s tale, great opening and most promising, finally I will be able to read one of his stories from the very beginning.

I hope I will be able to be a bit more active from now on and I have already been updating my Red Hot Chile AAR this week and I am planning on a rather spicy update in my Cum Deo AAR (Edit: out now, some nice Wall Street quotes that you might appreciate....or perhaps not). Next week I am planning to revive the Tiger and if I am lucky I might be able to play EU 2 Kingdom of Jerusalem and update that story too.

Go and read Anibal´s great Portuguese AAR Rulers of the Seven Seas, a truly great story and a great history lesson too. Glad to be able to make a small contribution to such a magnificent story, cheers.

Redwolf pops into the bAAR for the first time in a couple of months. He notices a couple of new faces from the last time he was here. Going over to Amric he orders a drink.

"Sorry for not being here for some time. Exams you know and whatever free time I've got is being spent on the Free Company.

A couple of AARs to recommend from a couple of our EU2 Hall of Fame writers. As Judge has stated, MrT has started a new AAR John's Tale. It's MrT first new AAR in a long time. A must read! Also Lord Durham has done a redux of the EU2 classic Austria and The War of the Spanish Succession: 1700 - 1708 (Redux) . If you have not read it before, go read it. If you have, read it again. It's that good.

Another AAR I must recommend is by TreizeV. Having read and enjoyed his first AAR Pax Britainnica : Ascent of the lion , I was looking forward to reading his new AAR VIVE L'EMPEREUR! Glory of the Eagles and true to form, it is everytime as good a read as his first AAR. Check it out if you have the time!"
