LD walks over Amric. "Beer me." He notices the two new cooks in the back. "Hope they can make decent chicken wings." He receives his beer. "Cheers. Well, mate, I cleaned out one hell of a lot of non-essential posts, I hate to say it. If you're finding the job too time consuming, I can always put out for additional help. By the way, make sure you drop into Stroph's congratulatory thread."

LD, to be honest it has been my RL illness that has caused most of my problems. Here is your beer, boss. I did stop by there as a matter of fact. Stroph will get a free drink in congratulations when he next stops by here. He's done a fantastic job with the OscAARs and the LibrAARy for such a long time that it seems effortless on his part. And I know for a fact it isn't. He just makes it seem so easy. As for my illness I am almost fully recovered. Even got my voice back today! As for the cooks, if they can't make chicken wings, and hot ones at that, they can be replaced...

takes of glasses and rubs forehead and groans

"Damm these new glasses are giving me headaches":(

Here is an Anaprox for your migraine, Becky. I have used them very successfully for migraines myself. I highly recommend them. Your AAR is very nicely written, so don't run yourself down about it. It takes time for a new story to gather a devoted readership. Plus you want to keep track of how many VIEWS there are as opposed to responses. Sometimes you get a lot of lurkers. Whereas my Cyprus AAR gets quite a few responses, but about ten views per every update I do.

Now as for glasses. I am an expert on them. Been wearing them for 32 years....If it is a new prescription you need to get used to it. Or it could also be that the temples could be too tight. Or the area that goes over your ears and it could be too tight there. That one has caused me headaches as well as causing my teeth to ache. Just some suggestions for you. If you are getting red patches on your nose the nose grips are too tight as well. Sometimes it takes a few attempts to get the glasses fitted correctly. Trust me on this. I once had to go back and get mine adjusted three times to get it right.

Amric... bring me some Porto. Yes, if anyone more wants it, come and drink on me! Yes!

Starts to drink his delicious portuguese wine. Drinks with pleasure, just like a small child when first eats chocolate and starts to love it like a vicious.

Thank you, Singleton Mosby. No, I don't have a new project in mind on the EU2 AAR forum. I have my portuguese AAR to be continued. By the way, I just updated it! El-Rei D. Sebastião now has age to rule, and Araujo's regency is over. What will be of the liberal Araujo's policies? What will be of Velasco, his advisor? What will be of el-Rey D. Felipe I of Spain? Scenes from the next chapter!:D

Judge, indeed. Lohn Jennon died as a hero trying to defend the Dutch Republic against the United Rebels of the Greater Lord CTD. But life goes on. And, by the way... nice madagascarian wood!;)

Well, Arilou has just started a new AAR. Good luck for him... well, he doesn't need it in fact, he's a very nice writer by definition...:D

Due to Victoria and a huge amount of studying my AAR has been on hold for the last couple of weeks. I'm afraid it'll continue to be so until the end of this year, cause I'm going with my family to our new house in Skåne to spend the christmas and new year, and we haven't yet installed an internet connection there. I haven't yet decided if I should continue that AAR or start a new one, time will tell. :)

Judge is sitting in LD´s chair sniffing on a piece of tropical wood. “Ahh, the money, the factories. You know Anibal and Amric maybe I should donate some tropical wood to LD, after all he does deserve a more comfortable chair than this”.

“Mmm”

“Well if I would make a guess this chair is made of hard Canadian lumber but that is only a guess, well anyway I have just updated my Cum Deo AAR today and yesterday I updated my Kingdom of Jerusalem AAR”

An anonymous voice rings out ”What I was hoping that the Cum Deo was closed forever?!!”

“No my mysterious friend, it was not, it is back with more juicy tales, more half naked women, more violence and soon a crusade too”

“Arggh”

“Yeah that’s right and don’t miss next update Messalina Beaver will meet some very annoying brats at the party who wants to…well *cough*…oh and don’t forget to check my Chile AAR, I will post a new update in one hour called Burmese Days”

“Ah that’s a Tolkien title isn’t it?” says the anonymous voice.

Judge reaching for a bottle answers the question with an icy voice ”No its not, its Orwell”

I'd like everyone to check out the Carthage AAR (Tunis), written by Farquharson. It is a very promising AAR, and I hope it will turn out to be like John Poole's Poland AAR :)

Steps into the bar with a black top hat on his head and a full belly.

"Ahh, I hope all the american readers had an enjoyable thanksgiving. I myself have had my fill of turkey at this point. I would also like to hope that the readers not based in the US of A had an enjoyable weekend as well. I just updated my Empire of Hungary AAR, for those of you that are interested, check it out."

Taking a seat at the bar, Amric hands him a glass of glenfinnich, which he proceeds to savor in small sips.

"This week, I will do something different and instead of recommending something on our board, I will instead recommend reading something on the HoI and Victoria AAR boards. For Victoria I recommend Judges new tale "Red hot chile", though there are many other great tales there as well. Its interesting to read about victoria having not played it yet. For HoI, I shall give my stamp of recommendation to Lord British's "At the Gates of Paris: A Fascist France AAR". Enjoy"

With that said, Machiavellian sat in silence and enjoyed his scotch

The bAAR's unofficial cook prepares midnight snacks for the people still there

Novgorod the Great has just been updated. I encourage everyone to go over and read--or at least post, I think I set a record in that thread for most consecutive posts in an AAR. :D

As walks in and enjoys sone porto, Anibal tells the people:

Been quite some time that I didn't update my portuguese tale... anyway, it's comming fresh tomorrow. The last update before we have some really hot things, as if the other things weren't :D ... I don't know if Amric will let me do it, but I'm also announcing my HoI AAR. Has been writing it for some two weeks already, and I think it's getting quite fun (or a deception:p )! Link on my sig.

By the way, talking about sigs... hey Ladyfabia! You copied my idea! But thou hast the right, the idea is nice, isn't it? :)

Then Anibal sits down, asks for more porto, and starts to read a book. Yes, it has a title, and it's called History Park: Here There Be Dragons.

The very old customer emerges from the dark corners of the bAAR

"Coffee Amric, and lots of it, too many things to do in real life to hang around much."

Amric magically makes the steaming mug appear at Valdemar's elbow.

"Great, thanks, now I got an announcement, as some of you may know I'm also modding the ancient predecessor of this place, the EU1 AAR land."

Amric nods

"Now they finally gotten together to nominate a few stories for their own OscAARs, but they severly lack reading and voting audience."

He scolds his tongue drinking the coffee,

"ouch, now could I convince some of you fine patrons to mosy over there and check it out?"

Pours all the drink orders he's been getting....

Well I've updated my own AAR yesterday and another one should be ready by the end of the week. Probably later today or tomorrow. Judge, yer a brave man to be sitting in LD's chair, but I guess he won't mind as long as you aren't in it when he returns...Just don't drip the hot sauce from the chicken wings on it...

Eochaid popped into the bAAR with a bottle of Champagne in his hand.

"Gentlemen, after a few weeks, Castellon and I have written not just ONE, but TWO updates for the Milk & Cookies AAR. Rejoice! Rejoice!

I dedicate this bottle to MrT!

Cheers!"

In honour of MrT and all the drinks he had for our fun, I suggest we declare this weekend to be MrT weekend and drink to him.

CHEERS

(I would offer free drinks, but it was real ugly last time I did that in this forum!!!!)
