The Aztec Legacy

Ok im a vet of EU2 now, and im going to try to survive and modernize the Aztec empire (and convert to vic... if i survive )

Heres some background of whats happened so far :-


The emperors have expanded the kingdom and now have a hegemony over the central American area, been involved in one war with Indians where i fought for the independence of the lower north American states, and we won creating more stability in the area weakening the Shawnee tribe (which were imperialistic and trying to conquer everything in site).

Now, the Spanish are raiding and so far they arnt able to conquer us, but they are moving troops in by force and our lack of fortifications would make us easy pray if our great army defeated.
The Aztec empire decided not to build any forts as the military style isn't suited to siege warfare it would be easier to let the enemy take a province then counter attack and take it back without a siege.

The North American Problem

The tribes of the north are constantly fighting between themselves, alliances come and fall but never does one tribe become stronger.
The men from the east are beginning to settle in the Americas and they will soon turn a greedy eye to these tribes weakness and lack of unity.
Military intervention is not possible for the time being, we cannot spare 1 soldier away from guarding our lands from the Spanish conquistadors.

This lack of unity will lead to their downfall, and ultimately our downfall so something must be done in the future.

I too thought this would be a great idea for someone to do if they can convert to viki, and here it is! Ill follow, nice country yoube got so farr but inflation is very scary.

I always get bad inflation, im imperialist scum

i did convert to vic but the world was so buggered up it didnt work very well :<
so i didnt continue.
