I preordered on the Paradox store as soon as I got the mail. I afterwards saw that Imperator will launch on GOG.com too. Will I get a choice of Steam or GOG key? I'd much prefer GOG if possible, so it feels bad if I made the choice unknowningly!

The Paradox Store give only Steam keys.You have to rebuy it on GOG,i think.

For the more barbarian of you, this means that Paradox is announcing that Imperator: Rome will be available on 25 April, 2019. The game may be pre-ordered at the Paradox store and other major online retailers starting at $39.99.

Somebody messed up. The first paragraph says it'll be released on March 25 (8 days before the Kalends of April.) April 25 would be ante diem septem Kalendas Maias. (Not certain I have declined Maius correctly.) There are a couple of other errors as well. "Octavum" should be "octo", and "ar urba condita" should be "ab urbe condita".
