Chapter Four: Das Boot
Milan and Genoa have been at war with each other, making their lands chaotic. Time to DoW.
Shortly afterwards we peace out with Palatitane by giving them 25 ducats.
Peace with Milan - February 1423
Now we turn towards Mantua. A recent border dispute gave us a core, so we DoW right when we've got our troops ready.

Ok, some bigger powers are drawn to the war. Not a problem!
Mantua Annexed - March 1424
Peace with Aquileia - September 1424
Gold provinces taken, we can afford even more troops!
Peace with Savoy - February 1426
Eww, ugly borders! We must fix it ASAP.
September 1427 Milan DoW's us. Their fault.
1429 we declare war on Venice, allied with Savoy and Aquileia.
But before that, we have a problem:

We take the risk and DoW Naxos:
Aragon owns a province in Sicily, Genoa has a CoT.
Luckily, France didn't join the war.

Chapter Five: B&BBBB (Balkans & Beating the Big Blue Blob)
BB was 80.36. Bazti was the closest with 65.
September 11theek:9/11) Ottoman empire attacks us. Luckily just before the war Timurids had made peace with OE and so they had cancelled the vassalisation of Serbia and Bosnia.

So we got two regions (relatively) far away from Italy. We fix it by DoWing Montenegro, allied with Croatia and Serbia.
Montenegro annexed - May 1438
Ahh, sea connection.
Serbia annexed - February 1439
And finally, Peace with Croatia - July 1439
But we're not finished yet! Bosnia has guaranteed Crete, so we declare war on Crete.
Bosnia annexed, Crete WP'd. All right.
Next one is a bit harder. Austria DoW's us, but they're at war with Bohemia that takes up most of their soldiers.
August 1441 we adopt Military Drill.
In October we annexed Croatia.
Peace with Austria - March 1442
France warns us again, and within a month DoW's us. They are at war with Spain.
But luckily we managed to gain enough WS before their doomstack arrived to peace out:

That army you can see in Sicily is my counter-rebel army. That solves my problems. I also have a fort defense advisor.

This is pretty high up on the unsubtle-but-effective list. No more Mr-nice-Pope
