The Art of War and The Prince now available as Paradox ebooks!

To celebrate the new Conquest of Paradise expansion, Paradox Books has released its own editions of two timeless classic works of war and politics: The Art of War by Sun Tzu and The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli. These books are both in the public domain, but they have been given new prefaces by senior staff members of Paradox Development Studio. Both books are available in the Apple iBookstore now: The Art of War and The Prince.

What translations are these? From your comment about the public domain, I presume they're fairly old (i.e., pre 1922) translations, but I'm curious which version you're using.

For The Art of War we use the translation by Lionel Giles and for The Prince it's the one by W. K. Marriott. Yes, both are pre-1922.

I was wondering if there is a hardcover version of these? I like my books physical

Yes, we might do this. We have actually released our first titles in print (the recent novels for Magicka and War of the Roses) and we will do more as we move ahead.
