The Ancient Relics Story Pack is now available for Stellaris: Console Edition on Xbox and PlayStation!

In the second addition to Expansion Pass Four, uncover the ruins of long-lost civilizations, and discover the powerful Relics they left behind.

Discover new Archaeology Sites that will allow you to restore the Grand Herald to its former glory, explore Hidden Worlds and grasp a chance at immortality, or embark on a quest for the Rubricator, as well as a plethora of other Archaeology Sites containing ruins from the past.

Find new Relics, each with a unique passive and active effect, including powerful relics at the end of the existing precursor chains, at the end of the Baol and Zroni precursor chains, as well as many other Relics that give unique bonuses and abilities.

Learn the story of the Baol, an ancient sprawling interstellar Hivemind of psychically linked Plantoids, or the Zroni, possibly the most powerful Psionics to ever exist in the galaxy, and collect Minor Artifacts that grant access to arcane technologies and mysteries from the past.

Im thinking for Halloween. Thats when it was released last year for pc.
Not a chance, it'll be released closer to PC. They still have to finish developing it. They are trying to stick to a deadline and are kind of rushing, or crunching you might say. I don't think it's so dramatic but they aren't releasing this stuff in line with PC, they're getting it out when they can, using things like "by the end of the year" as a goal post

The 10MB DLCs are just placeholder files as far as I know. There was no patch which means the dlc content was already in the game, just locked?

And necroids ships, images, civics etc are also already in the game.

It seems it's just delayed to have new content every few months and not overwhelm people with too many new things at once? It seems better for sales to release them this way too, and more players may return after a new release.

I'm just assuming that's the reason for it. But it looks like it.

I believe the reason for it is so that they can update the base game with all the content so that way it's all installed for when it's ready to release. That way you can just get the access key and play without hqving to install 5-10GB when it's released
