It depends on whether I am the overlord or not.
Here's what minor AI countries do, you know with forcelimits of less than 20. They increase revolt risk to lower autonomy and then get 3 stacks of 15 rebels, two of them with randomly generated generals. Way to go...
Here's what most players do, lower revolt risk and raise autonomy. The place is crap anyways when you get it, might as well burn off the nationalism period so that at the end of that you can raise revolt risk and lower autonomy, ya okay, it's like 25 years to get down to 20ish or so Autonomy, but for those of us who played EU3 that's familiar territory anyway.
Brand spanking new colonial nation, I guess they get to make a new decision when they take a province, because those provinces I stole from the native folks went from 1% revolt risk to 12 the second they took over, and wouldn't you know it, my 6 force limit colonial nation gets 2 stacks of 10 rebels to deal with...good job.
Does the AI not know how to manage this new system? I am guessing not. I don't want skynet, but less stupidity would be kind of fun as well, and I play on Hard AI if that makes any difference.
