This has certainy gone a considerable distance in increasing my appetite for this game.

Can't wait.

And by the way, I did like most of the Victoria style stuff, so I wouldn't be upset if they incorporated some of it. The point is that even though Vicky is notorious for its micromanagement, most of is is actually fairly well organized micromanagement, in that it's relatively easy to find certian screens and see more than one thing at a time. Even if the management of this game is nowhere near that of Vicy, even light management benefits from good organization.

I think left one is energy and right one, well it looks like two piles of gold coins, money?

Screenshots looking good this far and they can only get better.

I'm betting you are right about the energy. I'm guessing that it includes hydroelectric power.

I agree the first new icon is something like power or electricity.

The second does look like a bill and a pile of coins.

The third one I doubt is transport capacity. It doesn't really look like a "TC" to me. I don't think they are letters at all.

My guess would be it has to do with research.

What's the lightning-bolt thing where the coal should be? Is that an icon for cash reserves to the right of supplies?

Bleeee I love the new screenie lol, I especialy like the 2 new recources or thats if the last one is a recourse.

Electrisity and the other new one could be Componant parts or Diplomat counter, god knows lol, be nice if Johan could say what that other one is lol.

But in all HoI2 seems to be shaping up fairly well :D

I'm more and more excited :) Didn't learn much new from this screenshot other than coal is changed and that extra resource...

Well, the prioritise button certainly looks promising :) And if it's true that units will have to be upgraded by actually building new supplies that will be cool.

Keep up the good job!

I hope it's hard to supply troops far inland in China. This would make things more realistic and explain why in the screenshot it's 1944 and the Japanese still only have the costal provences like they did in RL. :)

Then again maybe those 2 tiny chinese army in the pics have some supernatural kung-fu skills.

electricity?

well, overall, the new screens are looking much more professional and a lot less cheesy-cheap. Hey, it looks like 2004 instead of 1991! yay!

No, honestly, things are looking good - view-wise. Hope the game play is there, too! (waiting patiently)

I wonder how you get electricity in-game. It's probably needed for IC to run, so it wouldn't make sense to make it like supplies. And its kinda odd to have electricity as a province resource.

Looks swell, but I hope rivers are on the map as they were in HOI.

I always play in the diplomatic mode (so I know who is where on the map) and having to switch to terrain mode everytime I need to find a river would be incredibly annoying

Maybe we can get an official word on rivers from the devs? :D
