Something along the lines of Panzer General 1 would already be fine for me. It has the best implementation of the "stone, scissor, paper" principle I have seen so far.

Besides - I am rather bad at chess. :) I tend to charge down the fields with my pawns and once they are mowed down the officiers jump in, ready for a glorious fight. Somehow this approach doesn't get me very far. ;)

Give Strategic Command a chance....is a great game exspecially in MP...but i have to admit its turnbased. I have just a burnout from SC as i played 200+ MP games ...therefore i come back to HOI to try MP here.
In autumn SC2 is coming ...then you can also play 2vs2 or 3vs3 not only head to head.

Played SC in SP mode a bit. Nice game to spend a few hours, but somehow it didn't really catch me. Maybe I should try MP - but isn't MP limited to two players?

My first opinion was the same.....the simple graphik...only 2 sides to choose etc....but believe me when you play human ag human it rocks.....it´s dangerous attictious ;) and much more complex as you believe.

SC1 is only 1vs1 playable ...SC2 will be more player allowed.
