Dunno if you are in the toronto area, but i've never had the slightest problem buying any of paradox's titles here. Eu2 arrived in my local EB the day after stratagy first shipped it, and EU1 was in stores pretty early too. Heck, EU2 is still really easy to find. My cousins in Montréal say the same for there.

Toronto and Montreal are the two largest cities in Canada. Most cities are going to have it, but many stores will not. Go check out a futureshop. I'll bet they'll never carry it, but EB will.

The Battle Wagon of Doom will be visiting the Grand List of some 56 game stores between Atlanta and Nashville on Tuesday. On my signal, unleash hell... mwahahaha

... please tell me you aren't going for a long drive? :)

Up here in Canada we pay 7.5% sales tax AND 7% "Goods and Service Tax" 14.5%!

Central East Coast: 4.5 sales tax, no service tax... take that ^_^

best buy had to search into their warehouse to find il-2(ww2 eastern front flight simulator) for me, sigh

Yeah, just don't get sick. You get what you pay for.

COMPUSA and BestBuy will probably get it eventually. COMPUSA, at least here, never answers their phone, so if you want information try EB or Gamestop. I'll buy from whichever of those has it Wednesday, though Tuesday would be nice.

True. All socialist doctrine should be printed and used as toilet paper. That's a wonderful use of socialist doctrine.

Canada not socialist? Great health care eh? Then ask every state that borders Canada why there is a problem with Canadians coming to the US for health care. Most of it is illegal also. Oh, and your PM calling our President an idiot. Great move Canada.

We've kept your lame country free for years and always protected you. We're repaid with ungrateful comments and a drain on our health care system.

You gave us one great thing, HOCKEY!

True. That's not too bad for a socialist country, though. Our taxes are too high for a capitalist country. Hopefully President Bush will get all of his tax cuts though now that we have Republicans everywhere.

LWPJMB " All socialist doctrine should be printed and used as toilet paper. "
Isn't this getting a little dangerous. I'm no socialist (more like a British one nation conservative), but I think all book should be published, freely available and treated with some respect. What you advocating is a couple of steps on the path to what the Nazis ended up doing, that is burning books.
Canada isn't really socialist by European standards and I think a good case could be made for saying that their are now no real socialist govts on the continents.
I don't know about the Canadian health system, so I can't comment; I always find its good not to bang on about something I don't know about.
The insult you refer to was more directed at G.W.Bush rather than the institution, if it had that would be more outrageous. Personaly I don't think Bush is an idoit, its about time people stopped underestimating me and gave more thought to seriously challenging some of his policies.
How is Canada "Lame", can't stand on its own two legs. Looking at their record in WW2 (appropriate for HOI), they suffered slightly higher causalties (as as % of their population) than the USA, as did Australia and New Zealand's proportion was twice that.
I think you miss the point of US-Canadian relations, shouldn't it be about being good neighbours. I'm sure Canada get lots of benefits from being next door to the USA, but the US also get access to a well developed market for its goods, gets a large range of raw materials at good prices. Ofcourse the trouble over Canadian timber exports is one of the things I criticise Bush most for, those sort of trade tarrifs help no one in the long run.
As for HOCKEY, I can't comment just to say it is only a game, just like HOI.
Being british we've learnt to live with inventing games and having others completely trash us at it. ie what the Aussies are doing to us in Cricket at this moment. By the way crickets a game played by many more countries world wide than American Football or baseball :)
