Yes, concurring that there aren't that many of them. Few (started with actual label of being an interactive AAR) were caught during lurking, yet they did not follow through after an initial premise-post; and again this is from own observation, which cannot be regarded as an objective data.Secondly, what to do about MP/Interactive?
Although it does not have the spectrum to fill a list of six-points, the listing should not be reduced by merging, since the other ones are already overfull; the limit already prevents many wonderful works to be included in the listing. Yet this is redundant.
In fact, it already is the de facto situation.
Voted for Two idiots discover America (by SibCDC), but in the category of comedy; interesting work, highly entertaining style. Despite it is given as dual-player style (with Tom D.), never thought of it as a multiplay, nor interactive AAR.
Another example from this year: The Last Days of the Han (by Zamarak500). Extraordinary work, high-quality writing. Never thought of nor read it as an interactive AAR, despite starting even with character creation and such.
Never checked the voting-lists of the previous years; therefore after a quick check-out, quite interesting lists have been observed: As an example, Blut und Schlacht (by Bullfilter) was voted for MP/Interactive. Jolly good writing, interesting story. Never thought of it being interactive; did not read it as an interactive AAR.
Discarding the category or merging with the others will not solve the problem. Besides, it already is as such. More reading will help; hopefully numbers will improve in the next years.
Cheers mate, and cheers to all.Thank you SO MUCH for helping to rewAARd the great works of this past year!
Need a couple more days to pull self together.
Then onto congratulations.
Expect the onslaught.
