I'm a huge fan of Paradox games, I play EU 3, Rome and HOI 2 regularly.

Games that crash and won't let me play are not for me, I agree. Would you play a game that crashes all the time? Would you play a game that fucked up the geography of your country entirely? There were some Epic battles because of that river, but it doesn't exist in HOI 3. How is this game related to World War 2?

I'm barely active on the forums, just look at my post count and I have been registered since 2007. I haven't seen a point to register my games. I've had no problems with EU 3 and Rome.

About two weeks! That is fabulous! I am having a great time (but a bit slow) playing now. The odd hiccup, but nothing I cant work around. Just imagine what it will be like with some of these issues resolved.

I am now starting to imagine how great this will be in a couple years from now with a TRP or HSR mod...

I was going to hold off until 1.2 to see the reviews, but I will go out and buy a copy to support you. (As soon as the guys at micro center buy enough copies. Get in touch with your salesman and let them know they are sold out and need more.)

Question

I apologize if this has been addressed already, but I was just wondering if there has been any word of an improved interface for reorganizing OOB's?

I'm a bit of a neat freak and I'd very much like to switch everything around as I see fit. This is of course doable with the current system but it's just so cumbersome. I would guess some sort of hierarical view with drag and drop functionality would fare better.

This and no auto sliders would be my main griefs

Yugoslavia....superpower?

OK I started in 1936 moving at fast speed so I could play around before combat. So I get into 1939 and EVERYONE is already an Ally (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, etc). So Germany takes out France in 1939 in conjunction with Poland in the Summer of 1939. Since I am playing the US I am thinking this will be a tough slog....GREAT!

So I am pulled into the war in late 1939 (Diplomacy AI did this). No problem. Italy though is a serious paper tiger. The Brits have them wiped out in North Africa so I go up the boot. Tough slog to get from Sicily to the mainland....took months and an invasion north to accomplish. Great! But now I find that Yugoslavia has wiped out most of Italy. Huh????? How is this possible?

I think in Diplomacy too many countries are getting into the allies too quick. And Yugoslavia seems to be way over-rated.

Yugoslavia isn't very strong... I had a game where they got punched out by AI Hungary.

It sounds like Italy robbed Peter (yugoslav front) to pay Paul (US front) and it still didn't work.

Most games, Italy will actually overrun the French Alps defences and wipe out France while the Germans are still bogged down in Belgium.

if it turns out to be sufficent I might have to go out and re-buy the game (after rage-returning it)
