I love the features that were added in 2.2, however there is one single feature that I absolutely hate how it got reworked. Now I get for dev reasons with other changes on how it worked and how things were done, but that still doesn't mean that something couldn't be done about it.

One of the features I liked in pre-2.2 was the fact you could draw your own sectors. This feature is literally the only thing that annoys me to death. Planets I expect to be one sector are often in completely different sectors and unlike the usual 12-15 i had before the update, EVEN with habitats and megastructures, now I get upwards of 30! Dealing with that many governors just gets annoying and becomes a burden to management. The boundary system seems to be completely random and leads to some sectors having 2 worlds and others having 5 for no reason.

Again i get the reasons for the changes with everything that was changed. Global resource management, new resources (consumer goods and alloys), the new admin cap (which has its down problems), and planetary changes.

However, surely we can be trusted to draw up our own sectors again with all of the changes. I am not sorry for the loss of their own fleets, construction ships, and everything else, but what I am sick of is just the ability to draw them myself. If that could be brought back, I think it is a simple QoL improvement that could be made.
