While Marsia/Marzia/Marcia is an actual personal name, the region of the now Abruzzo that was at the time inhabited by the Marsi tribe is and were called (as in ancient time as now) Marsica.
Also, the most preeminent feature of the region was the Fucino lake (Fucinus Lacus), it was more or less of the same dimension of the Bolsena lake, and is famous for being dried up in the 19th century, so at the time of the Roman Republic the lake was there.

Didn't know that was even bigger than the Bolsena lake, so that made it in all effect the biggest lake of central and southern Italy, in that case is even more important to have it in the game to have a more correct map possibile imho

You are right, I've made a fast research and indeed I don't have found any source for the name in ancient time, but indeed in Latin the name "Marsicum" or its nominative feminine "Marsica" were the only way to call the region so *maybe* imho it was called in that way, while in English Marsia is indeed correct.
If it will be up to me I will still use "Marsica" because is more correct, there is a name for the place, why invent one, but in this case is pretty the same, for me it's ok also Marsia if it fit in English.

On the lakes in central/southern Italy nowadays, be careful as a few are artifically made, do consult the old Roman maps.

"Marsicus" is an adjective . "Marsicum" is the neutral nominative , for example in "bellum marsicum" = "the marsican war ". (aka Social War )
Given that "regio" ( land ) is feminine, it should be "Regio marsica" (or simply "Marsica" )
