Ok, who came up with that event chain, it's rather amusing. Choice bits include deciding on the evenings entertainment.
I've never seen this one before. Is it for the Increase Stewardship ambition?
I like the martial one where you play warhammer with some village kids.
oo, I've not seen that one yet, I assume it's also martial? The one with the man from the East with his "sticks he insists on using whenever he eats" is good, too.
"Man who catch fly with chopsticks can do anything."

That man from the east event gives you like 4 martial skill. It's insanely good.
With the inn event, has anyone tried picking the first choice for entertainment? The one where you invite a clergyman? I haven't tried that one yet. I imagine he would be a party pooper.
The skill ambitions all have really good events, i believe they were trying to recreate the event chains like "The Gates of Hell" and "Merry Men of Nassau". Most of them didn't make it to the final game however the devs wanted to include a lot of them.
i THINK HTE gATES OF hELL ARE IN... IS THAT THE ONE WHERE A VOLCANO OPENS UNDER YOUR TOWN?
So what did we cut from Crusader Kings II? Basically, this:
- A medieval style chronicle with annual entries
- Trade post holdings built by the republics (Venice, Genoa, etc)
- Hiring ships from the great republics
- Relics that can be found, looted, and used to build cathedrals
- Loads of very rare narrative events (like "The Gates of Hell") with multi-generational effects
- A viceroy/drots/great seneschal council position for each kingdom held
- Cadet branches of dynasties
- Adventures - younger sons raising an army and going off to conquer something on their own
Actualy you salt the food served not the drinks, and the event chain is pretty easy if you use some common sense: hiring the bards makes for entertainment, granted I have been temped to use the wild ass that sings and recites poetry just to see what happens. And adding 10% salt is best if you think about it. It's enough to add flavor to food and still makes people thirstiest if they consume enough of it. Adding more makes the food taste badI will try when i don't care.
Also wonder what happens if you put all salt you have into beverages. I guess you will get into a proper pub brawl and gain military skill instead.![]()
