That April Fool I believe is from a mod, rather than CO/Paradox.

That said, I think Chirpy branching out into other games would be interesting. Stretching his wings, as it were!

Yes, I understand that, but I was wondering if the joke was "CimCity" or also the cost of the mods in the panel as in the US the stuff does not cost money? Was just wondering if other regions had prices on the stuff for real. If they don't, that is super funny stuff.

I guess it might've been a reference to EA's hyper DLC way of doing business now. So everything in SimCity 2013/5 that wasn't in the base game but could be downloaded (with one or two exceptions) was charged for. I know this is a viable method of making money and this is what Paradox intend to do with Skylines to some extent, but at least they offer free content patches and the base price of the game is reasonable. Any DLC will just add to the game and is entirely optional ie: the game isn't lacking in the first place.

Anywho I'll shut up about DLC/Micro Transactions as that can still upset people these days
