I just wanted to say to all at Colossal Order: THANK YOU!

CIM2 has given to me many hours of pleasure already, and I've barely scratched the surface. You should pat yourselves on the back for a wonderful sequel to an already great game. Yes, I know things are not perfect, but what in this world is? I'm confident you'll iron out those little critters that found their way into the bonnet, but even with those couple of things, I'm sure I'm not alone in saying this is a fantastic sequel, so thank you, and well done to you all!

So many changes compared to CIM1 gave me a cold reaction but I've played a couple of hours and it's starting to grow on me now. The game has more depth than the original and i've just started building metros - wasn't as scary as i thought it would be given the comments on forum, relatively trouble free. But as i gain the hours of gameplay i will no doubt notice the points they talk about.

I think CO have done changes in the game with the best intentions and it's clear there are some technical limitations in the game that have not yet been conquered (metro station design/route terminating/multiplay) but if they can be tidied up and the navigation fixed then we have a really great game that has a lot of potential.

These relatively easy changes coupled with a DLC that adds more building variety such as low rise/apartment/civic buildings and you will see a radically improved game. Game has a solid foundation and a rough exterior but thats easier to sort out than a weak foundation with a polished finish (Simcity)
