Thanks for making this a real grass-roots game - for the people, by the people and so on.....

This is coming from someone who has been playing strategy games since getting an Apple IIe in high school (try and figure out how many years that is!).

Now if I'm sent back to work in India next year, I'll have a great game to keep me company!

Let me add my heartfelt thanks to Paradox. EU was a great game, and EU2 looks to be that much better. I wish you gentlemen nothing but success and happiness and can't wait to see (and buy) your upcoming projects.

Yep, gotta agree with that. No other game I've bought recently have I had the opporunity to talk to designers regularly on the boards and everywhere else.

Now if they can just get a bigger budget so they don't HAVE to release a patch the minute the gold is made.

Thanks Paradox, not only have you been there with the fans from the start, but you havn't shied away when the fanbase grew - you guys are indeed a model software house, no - the model software house...

I just hope and pray that this game (both of them) will get their rightful place in gaming history and that Paradox can continue to create incredible games such as this - you guys are (and I say that with expierence and without reservation) the best

No doubt it will be a quality hit, however. EU1 is already in my top 5 ever of strategy games. And well, EU2 can only be better.

well, i want to thank you too in advance paradox (although i wont get eu2 before monday here in vienna - if all works fine). i consider myself a civ3 & eu1+2 pagan but i never had to be converted. imo considering the core concept they are two complete diferent games which cant be compared. but of course with getting eu2 civ3 will be ignored on my pc for an unknown period of time
