No doubt it will be a quality hit, however. EU1 is already in my top 5 ever of strategy games. And well, EU2 can only be better.

Yeah, thank you, Paradox. You proved that there are still companies that can produce great, original games, and that put quality over quantity. Let's hope this continues, even if Paradox starts earning real money.

I just hope the gaming community in general gives Paradox the respect they obviously deserve. I mean if they can create a game that rivals (and in my case I think it beats) Civilization for which has become strategy games measuring stick I think they have done one hell of a job.

I was amazed when I dropped all my desire to play Civ for the first time in a decade, when I got EU and became obsessed with EU2!

I am horrified that Civ3 is in "hot picks" list and EU2 isn't... it shows that the "masses are asses!"
