I want to give them credit for this being one of the most bug free launches I've seen in any of their games. From EU to CK to Stellaris pretty much every major update always has that "one bug" that if not literally gamebreaking is usually big enough to put on hold until the first hotfix, or sometimes even first post patch patch.
This update seems damn near perfect, and the big controversy is about a design decision rather than unintended bugs. I think once they get growth tweaked so it feels better in certain cases (esp ring worlds, ecus etc) people will look back on this update as a large success, and hopefully something to build on moving forward.
