So much this. I've been really enjoying it vanilla and it stands by itself IMO. Now I've started to mod to fix/change what I don't like. Though future updates are very welcome, especially in terms of content. Mods have already given me downsampling, no chirpy, traffic that doesn't despawn in a traffic jam, 25 tiles, autosave, parking lots, more challenge AND more buildings so I'm having a great time even if there was never another update by CO.
