General about countries

Ideologies:
Autocracy:
Absolute Monarchy (i.e. Russia)
Paternal Autocrat (i.e. Ottoman Empire)
Authoritarian Democracy (i.e. Germany, Austria-Hungary, Japan)
Democracy
Constitutional Monarchy (i.e. UK, Italy)
Centralized Republic (i.e. France)
Federal Republic (i.e. USA)
Radicalist
Radical Republicanism (i.e. China)
Socialism
Communism (i.e. Soviet Union)

Give me help on where to fit countries in. Changes to this are possible.

Alliances:
Alliance
Entente
Comintern (if SU is created)

A question, is it possible to make SU (if created) join an alliance without members? I've found no command for that. Only the...
type = alliance which = XXX
...that means that we have to create an "invisible" country that has the position of leading the Comintern until SU exists and then leaves that alliance. This could be a distant island or something so that the country doesn't start or gets involved in any wars and is given 0 IC so it can't produce anything. Better ideas?

I'm also working on decreasing and increasing IC and resources. To minimize the need for rubber and oil (those two where not that important), we have a conversion rate of 1 to 1 for both.

is there also a way that you can make it so you can be a country like Germany and be peacful? i tried being peacful in HOI as Nazi Germany, i didnt take austria or other countries and after about 3 years the allies declared war on me anyways, I heard that in Democratic countries on HOI war entry goes up by 1% no matter what every month so even if you try to be peaceful they declare war on you, is there anyway you can make it so you can be a peacful Germany, Ottoman Empire, etc. without the allies declaring war on you for no reason?

That is possible to do by adding events that decrease WE, but I don't know if we want that. After all, what we want in the game is war, and nothing but war. :)

A federal republic would be Belgium, not USA.

BTW: Arabia is not on that list.

I should think there should be - and an Easter Uprising as well.

It should be balanced with something detrimental happening to the Central Powers. Worker's strikes crippled Vienna quite a bit towards the end of the war.

It wouldn't be too fair to give all the revolt handling jobs to the person/AI playing as Gt. Britain (Ireland, Afghanistan etc) :)

I think that Finland should be a possible revolter, not a puppet - after all, the Czar had started a Russification campiagn in the early 1900s and abolished the old Swedish-Finnish laws of Finland that the Russians had promised to respect when the took Finland 1809...

As for countries and alliances, I think we should have these categories;

Central Powers
Entente
Comintern - will only rise after USSR has been created, which can be prevented by victories for the entente.

Reactionary Monarchy (Germany, Austria-Hungary, Russia)
Paternal Autocrat (many south american countries)
Monarchist Dictatorship

Afghanistan - Monarchy
Bhutan - Monarchy
Nepal - Monarchy
Albania - Federal Republic
Austria - Monarchy (?)
Germany - Monarchy (?)
Bulgaria - Parliamentry Democracy
Belgium - Federal Republic

Germany was a constitutional Monarchy. The Kaiser had much trouble getting money from the Reichstag, especially for new battleships.

China was a absolute monarchy. It was ruled by the warlord General Yuan Shih-k'ai, who suceeded the Manchu Dynasty.

Switzerland is a Federal Republic.

Austria-Hungary would be either a paternal autocrat or absolute monarchy.

As I said though, the US is not a Federal Republic. The US is just a democracy I think.

(USA doesn't have the ethnic divisions that Belgium, Switzerland, and Albania have, and Iraq soon will follow this same model as well)

The US is technically a Democratic Republic. Since the people wote for electors, who then choose the president, it is not a full democracy. This, however, is a very technical term, and not necessary for this game. Democracy works fine.

Some notes:

I have yet to find a flag of the rival group trying to take Saudi Arabia.

Also:

I have completed all WWI era flags, using some of the HOI ones too. Except Yemen, which never was independent at all under Ottoman Empire (Might want to change that) should I email it?
