Did we agree on a session next tuesday or thursday. I can't play thursday, so i'll need a sub there.

AAR already posted, so i'll make instructions in the weekend.

When we checked this during game last session 7 out of 9 said they could play on Thursday (it was Aladar and someone more that could not, perhaps FJ?). Earlier we have decided that if at most two are away we will play.

If we can get 8 or 9 players at MOnday/Tuesday/Wednesday that is of course preferable.

Alistus apparently made a good job in Saxony bringing them back up close to the top. Also Aladar with his conquests in the East made a big jump. But the truw winner was really Portugal with his large conquests of Neapolitan provinces. After the game in the rehost for the save King John was even heard saying "Daniel, who is winning now?" Any more comments are superfluous.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE

We play on Thursday.

We had a discussion earlier how to do when people could not play during summer. Only 3-4 people or so had their say. And the majority of them thougth that we should play if all perms except two could play. When I checked before we started the previous session only two said they could not. Thus we play.

Get subs or be prepared to be ghosted or even worse AI.

In all honesty, this time me and Aladar announced months ahead that we cannot play this thursday. It's not like this fact suddenly arose Daniel. I feel your decision is unjust, we have done our part of the duty to keep your planning easy, but still get nothing out of it? What if I don't get a sub? My eu2 network isn't that widely spread, and I've got tons of things to do before Roskilde, including work and a birthday celebration.

How I am to get an AAR ready by tuesday escapes me. The otherwise reliable subs of labalag and mulli are gone, with mulli in roskilde and labalag as a perm.

Honestly Daniel I beg you to reconsider. I want to play Skåne, not to give instructions to another sub.

The AAR is ridiculously easy. I just wrote mine. It took 5 minutes.

We discussed this in post 1103-1105. That was the time to speak up. I just spoke to Lord Ederon. He could sub on Thursday. He is on our official sub list.

That you or anyone else tells X weeks before you cannot play is entirely irrelevant. That thus not initself mean the session will be postponed. It is only if Y number are missing that the session is postponed. What Y is is normally unkown in campaigns, for the simple reason GMs to not establish its exact value. However, we did discuss it and all 3 of us that took part in the discussion agreed that we would accept two missing (i.e. 8 out of 10 as it was by then).

I can well understand you want to play Skåne. However the rest of us want to play as well. That is a problem for all of us, not only you. Your repeated failure to attend lessens the game quality for the rest of us.

Apparently your prioritising in life is not well-suited to EM MP-playing. You seem to miss too many sessions.

Perhaps everyone doesnt just want to write some text and be done with it, perhaps they want to try and make it look as good as mine, although they wont succeed. ;)

My AAR took 15-20 minutes. :p

Apprenctice Absolut,

What FJ aparrently referred to was the possibility to write an AAR for which he could get a reward. Not the possibility for him to express his literary talents.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE

Lyko does not want to continue as Naples. One can understand that.

Elio has left Helvetia.

Thus we have two nations in deep shit and they are small and poor as well.

I offered Lyko Helvetia with the kind of edits we discussed before the last session. But he did not like that. Neither could I persuade him to continue as Naples.

I have found Lyko to be a super-guy because he is both nice and reliable. In a normal game that would be enough to try and find some solution that makes it fun for him to continue. But of even greater importance is IMO to solve the power vacuum created in central/southern Europe that IMO threatens to make our game unbalanced.

I therefore suggested to Lyko that Helvetia and Naples could be merged with him as a player, in essence Naples diploannnexing Helvetia. Lyko agreed to play on on these conditions.

In a normal game nothing more would be needed but this is a special game. Therefore I believe we must all agree, else we can not do this.

Thus everyone has the chance to say NO before the Wednesday morning, same time as the AAR. If anyone says no we will make both nations, HEL and NAP, on limit and go down to 8 players.

EDIT

Since his losses the last session was as Naples and the "diploannexation" of Helvetia would occur after that session I assume all agree that his MT will be based on the MP pool of Naples in the end save, not on the Neapolitan MP pool in the new starting save. If you object then please say so, if anyone does the latter alternative will be chosen.

Looknig at those power points for the navy in your game, I think they should be revised - I can't see why transports should be weighted as equally as galleys or warships, since all they do is carry twice as many troops as the others, and with no attack capabilities. Personally I think they should not be counted at all towards the naval score, but even giving them half the weight of warships and galleys would be a lot better than the current situation.

BTW, I'm talking about the BGW Power Rating, not the other one.

Actually, I read somewhere, in a FAQ I believe that transport has fighting capabilities, they may be bad and may only apply in colonial waters (not in Europe) but they have them. ;)

They should be counted, although you have a point and they should perhaps not be equal to warships/galleys.
