Temp. CB in Asia

Is there any difference in how temp. CB are assigned in Asia? If I am correct, in Europe, if you annex a country, other countries of the same religion as the country you annexed have a CB on you for like 5 years or something. Playing a country in Asia, I had big fat China annex another country that shared my religion (and was also my vassal) yet I still received nary a CB, not one...nope. Hmmm, trying to figure this out but can't. Maybe I misunderstood that rule.

Any suggestions/explanations?

Sounds like you should have. I don't think they last 5 years though.

My guess would be they would last about 6 or 12 months but I can't remember at the moment

Checked immediately after it happend - nothing...1 month later, still nothing...and so on and so forth...

Anyone else have any ideas?????????

I get a two-year temporary CB whenever anybody annexes anybody in a war. Not for diploannexes, though.

I used those to attack the Creek and Manchu after they ate somebody or other. Free wars!

I don't know if there is such a thing as "free" war , but I was looking for the free CB and can't seem to figure out why I did not get one. China annex's (through war) one of my vassals that is my same religion, yet there is no temp CB - not for a year, not a month, not even a day. Hrmph.

Keep 'em coming folks, if you don't mind. I would like to determine if this is some sort of bug or if maybe my game is corrupted.

One thought - and tell me if this is way off base - but China is Confuciun whereas I am Buddhist. Seems that the attacker's religion does not matter (i.e. Prot. Saxony annexs Catholic Cologne - should still give CB to all other Catholic nations) but who knows.
