Still kind of new to ironman mode so I fucked up quite a bit. I stopped at 1700 as I was going to face quite a few rebels with no troops nor manpower and maybe I will even face a war of independance.

To sum up my main mistakes:
1: I send my regular troops way to often into battle in the end causing some big manpower problems
2: during westernization I switched to catholic which sucks when you are colonizing north America. That Treaty of Tordesillas hurts.
3: I let my main fleet die on the ocean a few times
4: I was not agressive enough in south east asia in the beginning
5: I got greedy in my last war against aceh as they where in the middle of westernisation while my troops where not even at full strength.
0: While I had ironman on it seems something was wrong with my installation and I was unable to get achievements and stuff :( This has now been fixed
So it was a learning experience and my next ironman game will probably go a bit better.

here are 2 screenshots of my final size, aka I played pretty shit.

Look at me, i got Tupiniquim as a nation to stare at. Ofc i'm not doing that

Ehh? That's not a bad nation to start with.

Migrate, rival your neighbor, Show Strength to get a bunch of MP. Then Truce Break down to -3 Stability, and vassalize him. Then Migrate (+50 MP of each type every couple years because of the -3 Stability gives you migration bonus, and you migrate too fast to ever get rebels) until you reach the other OPM nations. Raise stability. Show Strength against both of those. Break Truce, vassalize one of them, then feed him the other. Then migrate to the third group of OPM. Repeat those actions. Then migrate to the Grasslands of Argentina (no Development malus, and distant enough from the Europeans to avoid getting conquered). Use your full MP stock to raise all of their development to 21+ development (evenly distributed as 7/7/7). Dump any extra in the place you decide to settle down and make you capital. Start colonizing. DIplo-annex your vassals (gives you a border with Europeans when they arrive). The Europeans should show up in a few decades, so use the extra money from your high dev provinces to colonize above your one colonist limit. Try to get the trade provinces. Finally reform your government, grab exploration/expansion and start colonizing in earnest while you Westernize.

I did it as Taupia, whose ideas make it a bit easier, but it should not be much harder for Tupiniquim.

That was... my third game in EU4 I think?

A little tricky but not that hard even for a new player. Managed to conquer most of the Andean nations, and slaughtered the French/British Colonies in South America (France killed Spain that game before they could colonize, and Portugal focused on the Carribean/Louisianna area.) Even started colonizing Africa and screwed up Portugal's Trade flow.

France wasn't that hard to beat even, until the Papal State showed up with 60K troops and started beating on me. I didn't think the Papal State would show up, so I had discounted them. That was a painful mistake, but not an unrecoverable one. Just slowed me down a lot.

Well first of all, thanks for the time you took to explain them, i passed simply because i played with cuzco/inca a lot of time ago for the trophy and had my share of fun with them kicking france, gb, and portugal all on my own, i just reputed this as a non flavored version of what i already did as inca, simple as that. It was one of the best games i played that's sure, but it instantly eclipsed all the tags in that region imo.
