England immediately allied my neighbors and desires my lands. I allied France. France is attacked by Burgundy. France is attacked by England. France calls me to arms.

Well at least I'm not a co-belligerent.

I think this has more to do with my lack of experience with Ireland than with the negative points limitation.

Got started on this (hard, ironman), formed Persia/got the Shahanshah achievement in 1506 before I had to end the first session. I suppose it can probably be done in a lot less time but I think the game is going nicely. Was ages since I last started in this region. A thin line of remaining Qara provinces divides me and the (very successful) AI Ottomans and in the east the Timmies remain strong (though I'll likely crush them next time we war due to tech difference). Will probably go for the This is Persia achievement too.

My proud nation of Ulm lasted until 1473 until I wanted to study why AI Emperor did not join when my ally had declared war, by declaring a war myself while inviting said ally. Of course emperor then joined with all his allies...

At least, Ulm was as developed as Paris by that point.

Their healthy king idea idea is probably one of the most unique in the game too in terms of what it's about one king actually revolted against his own kingdom because of that.
