One more reason: Gameplay > realism ( :D )

So screw province spread, and grant it all over the empire in one fell swoop, but keep the ck system otherwise.. now it would just needs to check for the number of manufacturies all over, along with the sliders.

Ofcourse, the fields and specific techs need a complete overhaul..
Basically, what can you do.. and how to improive it.
Diplomacy, taxes, other incomes, war, ships, exploration, var buildings/manufacturies and how to make them cheaper/more effective... no end to those? ;)

Hmm, well, I think I thought to much Imperialism-ish. In that, there's a whole different screen for it, but I suppose it could be a small window like for EU2's techs.
