I've now had 2 games where the tech tree has broken half way through the game, as i'm still a bit of a newbie I just wanted to see if there is any kind of explanation for what I have come across, here's the problems:
1. As USA (1.03) inventions stopped triggering halfway through the game, so in 1920 the most advanced navy in the world consisted of ironclads and there was no sign of electric gears, telephones, aeroplanes, automobiles AT ALL.
2. As UK (1.03b) in 1890, a few years ago I noticed the land military techs disappearing from the list of available options. I have now maxed out every other tech category and still can't research any land military tech (its stuck at 20/25), i've tried changing my research philosophy, no avail.
So any reason why these would occur? has no one else ever come across anything like this? Any chance I can fix these by altering the save game file?
