Tech Points... a strange thing?

Hey,

Was just playing a game through and I died (well I was murdered whilst hunting). Inheritance dictated that my heir (my brother) took control however my primary title became King of Wales, no longer King of England. Changed my primary back to King of England but all of my technological advances were gone! Reset completely. WTF? What's gone on here!?!

Anyone have any idea?

Tech levels are tied to your capital province, not your primary title. The technology is still in that previous capital.
