Ok, here's my idea:
Use Bizet's Carmen Suite Nº1-Les Toreadors, as it gives a 19th Century optimistic feel, than use 3D scenes, NOT GAME FOOTAGE WITH TEXT OVER IT, it is just a teaser.
On the first part, use action scenes, like ships, explorers, gigantic factory floors full of workers, but save war for later.
Then, when it slows down, use building and trading scenes.
When it picks up pace, use trains and political rallies
On the other slow part, use party leaders plotting, anarchists making bombs and capitalists counting money.
Then on the finale, use the best scenes, like war, revolutions and big ****ing trains. When the music is about to end, pan the camera to the sky and "victoria II" appears. This would be best used if there is a world war 1 scene with a storm sky, or a revolution with people swinging banners all over buildings.
And please, nothing similar to the Victoria Intro (some may not know, but it exists) and no game footage with text over it, that, of course, can be used in the real trailer.
