It's logical that people usually tend notice the smallest details when that's pretty much all they get to see, can't really blame them for it.

This game is changing me. I love summer as much or more than any being on the planet, but this game is starting to make me wish for a long, cold winter. Cant wait!

Looks great, guys! I don't think I will be playing battle scenarios (I always play the Great Campaign in Paradox games, because they give me more options), but it's a nice feature.
I enjoy playing some of the battle scenarios.... like this one as germany......

Icon, icon, what art thou ?
So it seems, it closely matches the ' artillery research icon' as seen in the 13-08 industrial research screenshot only smaller. St nazaire has the icon (most likely to indicate that it's one of their specialities to research artillery).
But if it represents something like corps artillery (the big guns) it doesn't match with the stats of the HQ unit as it has only 5 Soft Attack ?
But then again maybe it's clickable to give it missions, and the red arrow is there to remind the player about that.
Although I would find it more logical if the red arrow means that the unit is on the move, but as we don't see the big movement arrows on the map in this screenshot, who knows?
Enough guessing, thanks for the great screenshot guys. HOI 2 is beginning to look sexy!

And battlescenarios are GREAT fun in short MP games.
Not all of them are small though.. They all range from covering entire western pacific down to covering just slightly more than finland

I thought i wouldent spend so múch time with the battlscenarios in HOI2 but now with fixed real reinf. on special dates and times and with events happening if you succeed with certain operations it sounds simply wonderful.

Maybe someone answered this already but; it seems that the "Battle Scenario" has a much smaller playable map. (Notice some provinces in the south of the screenshot are black, as in TI).
If this is the case, would it be possible to update the "world map" in the corner to just cover the battle scenario?

I'm not sure about that "Allied" tag... ok, for this scenario since the Ardennes was launched against the US sector, but I don't think that such withe-star banner could work for 1940 western scenarios...
