So the general thought is that it references Shakespear's Julius Ceasar? I can work with that allthough with guesses that the name is SPQR and this the hints make the game sound awfully Roman centered. I really, really hope PDS will be much bolder in setting up this IP and include the whole of antiquity. EU:Rome's map for me was a bit of a let down with regard to playing the hellenistic empires. I'd also say that if we don't get the Chinese warring states in a broad antiquity game we are never going to get them which is a shame.

I know the Han empire and the Roman empire had practiacally nothing to do with ech other but both empires had an fairly parallel development which would make including both pretty interesting.

for example a nice DLC for Rome would be one focussing on the problems of maintaining a large empire and extending the end date to include the year of the five emperors and the crisis of the third century. Coincidentally this would match up pretty well with a comparable development in China where the Han empire after the yellow turban rebellion fell appeart in the three kingdoms period.

They way I see it the core game could go from 300 BCto 150 AD, a DLC extending that to 300 AD and adding more internal instability gameplay elements would be perfect and TBH I would totally dig another DLC adding the migration era en characteristics after that. Just like a DLC bringing the starting date to 400 BC to include the Greek - Persian wars and Alexander would be great.

Damn son, the possibilities are fantastic. That is as long as PDS has the balls to make an ambitiouis new IP out of this game

It's because it's a grand strategy fantasy, something never made before. If you have an empire of dwarfs, hobbits, harpies, trolls and minotaurs etc, there are lots of minorities, and of course a grand strategy fantasy game needs a good economy simulation.
